Excellent physician, highly recommend
Dr Torres saw me the same day for an emergency visit. He found my retinas were separating and immediately did laser procedures. He followed me very closely so I did not have to resort to a complicated surgery. Very compassionate and caring. I saw him in Baton Rouge, not Metairie.

Dr. Torres is such a thoughtful ophthalmologist. He takes his time, explaining things to his patience’s. My 85-year-old mother is being treated for macular degeneration and I go to him for my annual ophthalmology check-ups. A doctor and personal friend referred us to him and I’m grateful.

I hold Dr. Torres in the very highest regard as an eye specialist. He successfully treated me for wet macular degeneration 3 years ago and I was thrilled when he returned to this area after being away for 2 years. When once again I required treatment I would never consider going to another doctor. I trust his skill and knowledge implicitly. He has literally saved my vision!
