NOT
Terrible. My previous Neurologist accused me of being a “nonconforming “ patient. Dr Lajara would not make an appointment with me, says he “doesn’t think he can help me”

Save your money
This person had a total disregard for my symptoms and an inability to treat them. After months of pain which caused an inability to walk unaided, I found another neurologist who found my diagnosis. I am finally able to resume my life. Save yourself a lot of anguish and find another physician!

Great.
We love Dr. Lajara-Nanson. He is hands-down the most compassionate, empathetic neurologist that we’ve worked with. My dad has a unique form of Parkinson’s and he is the only one who has listened to his complaints and done everything within his control to help

I presented to the hospital in the midst of a relapse, unable to walk. The first day he saw me he was degrading, insinuated that I was faking my symptoms. He had no explanation for my presenting symptoms, but refused to treat me. At every turn practically called my 10 years of experience with this disease a lie and that my two treating physicians were unethical, incompetent, and weren't treating me appropriately. Then fired me as his patient. I filed a complaint with patient advocate and clearly told every staff member he was no longer allowed in my hospital room. He came in the next day and basically repeated the previous morning. I left the hospital against medical advice with a fever, unable to walk, PTSD triggered because I felt so unsafe with this physician. Please keep in mind I was hysterically crying the entire time. His license should be removed.

It was horrible. He told me I was crazy and if asked for a second opinion that all Doctors would think I was crazy. Then he put something totally different in my medical file. He told me I was old at 47 years old and that is what caused the lesions on my brain. He completely over looked the fact that I had a stroke for a year. He made me feel like I was going crazy. He was mean and hateful every time I had to see him and made me cry. He caused me more stress and worry than I needed and was of no help. I should have sued him for the damage he caused. I would not take anyone to see this man not even to have a band aid put on.

We are blessed to have him in Tahlequah, Oklahoma now. Saw him, was so impressed with how much time he took. answered questions, very clearly. I am changing meds for MS because he was concerned about the recent flare ups while on Copaxone from my previous . Starting tomorrow on the Ocrevus infusion tomorrow. Again, so glad he is here with his caring staff too.

Dr. Lajara is EXCELLENT ! The most caring, excellent bed side manor and very accurate in diagnosing my father. We have nothing to say negative about him except he know longer sees patients with my Dads diagnosis so now he doesn't have a neurologist at 84 years old. If you need a neurologist , he is the one to see.
