My husband & I are new patients. We had a lovely experience. Dr.Akbary is a wonderful listener ( he actually listens instead of typing notes on the computer like most doctors these days). He is intelligent, gives great advice & explains everything in details. He is poised, polite and genuine. Office & staff are all professionals.

LOVE Dr. Akbary, his kind & professional staff, and his beautiful office! My husband and I saw him for the first time this week (changing PCP practice), and he was extremely intelligent, friendly, warm, medically knowledgeable, and has a great bedside manner. He's truly savvy about evidence-based and functional medicine. His guidance is thoughtful and his approach gentle and I trust his judgment 100%. I'm discerning when it comes to physicians - Dr. Akbary checks all the boxes. Very pleased!

Excellent doctor. Spent a lot of time with me, listening, asking questions, thinking about my conditions. Gave me medicine and then scheduled follow-up, to see how the medicine would work. I highly recommend him.

Does NOT listen!!!! Does NOT pay att'n to notes in your medical record. I told him of the signs/symptoms I was experiencing & all he kept asking me is "If I run?" As if his office is some kind of running clinic/physical therapy. Terrible listener. Arrogant as can be, so pls don't bother seeing this guy, unless you enjoy wasting your time & $$$.

Dr. Akbary never listened to me on any of my visits, and frequently dismissed my primary complaints to focus on perceived issues he had decided were problems that didn't exist. I suffered with a chronic but treatable condition for years while under his care until I got a second opinion. He was dismissive of my concerns and rude to me on multiple occasions.

At first when I found out where This doctor got his PHD I thought he really knows his practice until I realized I was completely wrong. If you ever want a test to be done don't bother asking him he WILL reject your request & will tell you lets wait as of lets wait till you're dead.
