Think Twice !
I had a very disappointing and distressing experience with Dr. Way Lee. After undergoing ambulatory hernia surgery, I experienced severe complications, but there was absolutely no follow-up care from his office. For three days, I called repeatedly to report constipation and extreme pain and was only advised to use over-the-counter medications. On the fourth day, I was finally told to go to the ER, where I was diagnosed with a bowel obstruction and abscessed diverticulitis—serious conditions that required immediate hospitalization .Even after my hospitalization, Dr. Lee’s office never followed up with me or the attending physician from the hospital. Despite providing all the details of my ER visit and hospital stay through the patient portal, the office seemed completely unaware of my situation. During my follow up visit at Dr Lee’s office, Dr. Lee didn’t even bother to see me or discuss the situation at this critical time.In spite of their claims, there is absolutely no patient care

Had emergency gall bladder surgery by Dr Lee. He was so warm and personable. He assured me I will be great after the surgery and calmed my fears. Had follow up visit in his office. He explained everything to me and my husband. Even spoke at length to my husband about questions he had by another surgeon. I definitely recommend Dr Lee. His staff were all so nice and caring.

This exact same thing happens to us. My mom had surgery. Never updated any of us. We received no calls. I finally called the hospital only to find out she was out of surgery 3 hours earlier.

Dr. Lee repaired a severe hiatal hernia for my 88 year old mother using laparoscopy and changed her life as she was suffering for at least 3 years with it. Dr. Lee is a gifted surgeon and we cannot thank you enough!
