great doc
He's been my primary care doc for over 20 years. Just about as good as they come. Yes, the office is now large and somewhat chaotic, but that's the US healthcare system for you.

My original primary decided to stop taking insurance. So i googled primaries. Don't remember gow i found Dr Meyer but i am glad i did. He actually listens and cares for.patients. not in a rush to get to next patient. Staff is friendly too. I will admit getting thru on phone can be difficult cause they're so busy i guess. If you're looking for a primary care dr. I reccomend dr meyer.

When I called the billing office at the top of my bill to pay the bill I had received I was told they did not know who Dr Meyer was or Adventist health. I called Dr Meyers front desk to tell them what happened and they referred me back to that office refusing to take my payment. I made the mistake of calling the bill pay office back. Once again they told me they are a different doctors office. When I was transferred to a supervisors office he told me never to bother them again and said that I must be crazy. When I reported the horrific incident to Dr Meyers nurse, who runs the office, she simply said, well I can't help you! She later told the doctor that I was a trouble maker!!!

Dr Meyer used to be a good doctor however that has changed over the last year. He doesn't take the time and no longer is empathetic. Always appears rushed now.

I brought my elderly mother to an appointment for Dr. Meyer. After waiting 40 minutes, I asked if the doctor would see us soon. They said the doctor had left, but they should have told us this instead of having us sit and wait as if we were going to see him. If I had waited longer before asking we could have waited an hour without knowing that the doctor had left. So they took her insurance info and said to have a seat, but never said that the doctor had left, or that he was going to leave soon.

Very confusing billing. I took my son to this office for a new patient appointment, thought we could get it covered under our insurance as an annual visit. The office scheduled an "acquaintance visit" instead of new patient physical exam appointment. I thought I was not supposed to be charged for this kind of "acquaintance visit". During the visit, my son mentioned that he needed a school form for sport filled out. Dr. agreed to do it, but I had not idea that office will bill us for this visit
