I saw Dr. Sida for thunder clap headaches. They feel like a grenade going off in the top of your head and come on immediately. They only last less than 5 minutes. He ordered a MRA and put me on Toprimate. He acts like he does not like me and does not listen to me and does not return calls.

“Hand on the door” isn’t actually listening
Dr Sida is “friendly” in a good-ole-boy southern “politeness” type of way. I’ve been a patient for nearly a year with rapidly progressing symptoms that have significantly impacted my every day life (and objectively, my symptoms have been measurable and documented). However, none of my test results have been adequately explained & dr sida has told me several times “I’ll be right back” when he is absolutely not coming back at the end of an appointment. He is going through the motions & checking off the checklist, but just know that if you want a provider who is going to take you seriously and actively practice collaborating with any of your other specialists and follow a true, curious differential diagnosis protocol- just know dr sida is likely going to try to skate out of that and cut corners and practice the minimum amount of medicine that he can clinically and legally get away with. I tried resolving this privately with dr sida, but he answered one question & ignored the rest.

Not very happy==did lots of expensive tests including MRI and Xrays and had no answers--Reccomended a supplement pill out of Fla. to try for 8 months that was not covered that was $100.00 a month and than a cream that was $300.00 a bottle that was not covered. I have great insurance with medicare A and B and G plus a drug plan. Smells like a kickback to me.

This practice seems more concerned about money than about the patients. I have been unable to work for months with no income (I don't fall in any safety nets) so when I need to go back in for follow up visits, I am not seen because I don't have my copay. I have been dealing with this issue for 5 months and still do not have a diagnosis. The office staff is rude, doesn't relay prescription refill requests, doesn't call back when there are emergency situations. Unprofessional.
