Dr. Weitao Wang, MD

Was looking forward to my consult this morning at 7:30am with Dr. Wang. I showed up 10 minutes early per instructions, was immediately seen by nursing staff for vitals, and then left sitting in the exam room waiting for doctor. After 35 minutes I opened the door and asked when the doctor would be in. I was told he had not arrived in the office. I was apologized to by nurses and other doctor, but due to the disrespect of my time, lack of communication by Dr. Wang with his staff, I lost confidence in Dr. Wang before even meeting him and left his office. Dr. Wang's priority was not with me, the patient, today.

Dr. Wang destroyed my ear! He put me under anesthesia and didn’t perfythe procedure he had told me he would perform. He underwent a procedure that destroyed my ear. It is painful, and my ear is an embarrassment. He did zero follow up!

I'm Beyond grateful to have Dr. Wang as my surgeon I had breathing issues for years and no one could give me an answer I used so many inhalers and nothing really helped. My ENT recommended me seeing a surgeon for a consult and I said no I really didn't trust any Plastic surgeons around here thought I will just do it in Turkey. However, my breathing kept getting worse and I decided to go for a consult. I was so nervous that my results won't be natural and I end up with a weird looking nose. I changed my mind as soon as I met Dr. Wang for my consultation. The way he explained everything for me calmly. He was very confident and very knowledgeable. I trusted him with my surgery and yesss I'm extremely happy with my nose. Nobody can tell I have anything done. Most importantly I don't look different just a better and prettier nose.

I had surgery back in May 2022 with Dr. Wang. I can’t say enough about him. He’s professional, knowledgeable, and an amazing doctor. He made a very difficult time for me much easier with his compassion and care. The office must also be commended for the friendly caring staff and clean and welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend Dr. Wang and his staff at URMC Otolaryngology. I lucked out when I found a specialist like Dr. Wang!

We are beyond thankful to Dr. Wang. He is not only the expert in his field but so kind and compassionate . My son had battled an unconfirmed diagnosis for a year and half , seeing 4 other ENT’s in which none could seem to determine the appropriate intervention. Thankfully, after many months of countless appointments, medical procedures and laboratory work, we were guided to Dr. Wang. Upon our initial consult, Dr. Wang determined the appropriate treatment plan and my son’s surgery was scheduled. One week post op and after our follow up visit today with Dr Wang to remove his stitches and tube drain, my son has finally received the relief we all have been praying for. We are forever grateful to Dr. Wang and his dedicated staff. He is definitely the BEST of the BEST!

Post-operative visit. Dr Wang was courteous and friendly, asked a number of questions and answered my questions clearly. He reviewed my recent MRI pictures and explained differences between them and the pictures from an earlier MRI. He was thorough and unhurried. After two surgeries and a handful of office visits, I am highly impressed with Dr Wang and would recommend him without reservation.

About 4 1/2 months ago I crashed my electric bike into a tree face first. I received 8 fractures on my face in various places - jaw, nose, eye socket, cheek bone... my top jaw was actually detached. Dr. Wang and his team operated on me about a week after the accident and repaired everything, even putting a plate under my left eye to hold it up from falling where bone was crushed. They did a remarkable job and today nobody can even tell I had the accident - there are no visible scars. In my follow up visits with Dr. Wang he is kind and a great listener, never rushed and responds to My Care messages promptly. I feel he is very "present" with me when I am at my appointments and it is clear that he cares about his work as well as being highly skilled. I can highly recommend Dr. Wang for any maxillofacial surgeries!

Empathetic and detailed.

Extremely personable, down to earth, but confident in his abilities. The procedure I needed to have performed on my face was complicated including multiple nerves. Dr. Wang did an excellent job and left a minimal scar from the incision. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Extremly satisfied with the entire staff in Dr. Wang's office. Dr. Wang explained the entire rhinoplasty procedure to me along with his staff on what to expect. My surgery went flawlessly and I am exteremly happy with the results. The follow up visits have been very satisfying as well.

Dr. Wang is amazing. He has such a wonderful demeanor. He is the best diagnostician I have ever seen. He listens to you and answers all questions. I am so glad that I found him. I recommend him to everyone.

From the receptionist to the doctor himself, very professional and people friendly. Very respectful and attentive to a patients needs.
