nightmare
Ended up with internal bleeding, a huge ambulance bill, a blood transfusion, and then come to find that a 10 mm polyp (and 2 smaller ones) were not even sent for biopsy. what the actual ???? .... I'm glad everyone else has had good experiences, but safe to say I wont be back.

Failed colonoscopy Just had
Just had my 4th colonoscopy. It was unsuccessful. The prep did not work. Dr Mu of the Harford Endoscopy Center, that I conduct 2 day purge of my bowels and come back the next day. He told me then that 10p percent fail…I learned afterwards that for seniors like me up to 25 percent fail. I was not informed of this prior to the procedure. For a variety of reasons I could not come back…my person who had to accompany me was not available. Another point, the nurse anesthetist missed my vein on first try and spilled a stinging substance on my and in my hand. I learned later that this practice uses a service to prove the anesthetists. My mother died of colon cancer. I cannot go back to this service or Dr Mu. I am vexed, and am looking for options other than Harford Endoscopy. I am not happy to say the least.

I saw Dr. Mu for about a year. Each time I went to see him, I had to remind him who I was, what he diagnosed me with, when he diagnosed me, what meds he put me on, what meds he said that he'd try next, what scans I had done, etc. He did not care enough about me as a patient to glance over my medical records while I was VERY sick (Crohn's disease) and begging him for help. I once left 4 voicemails for him after he cancelled my appointment and he ignored all of them, and then told me at the follow up 2 months later that I "should have called him sooner." He treated me as if I was just another unimportant patient when I was sobbing to him asking him to help me get better. DO BETTER, DR. MU. People are suffering and come to you for help, not to be made to feel belittled and unheard. I understand that doctors in the US healthcare system are busy and have limited time to give to patients, but what a waste of time, money, and agony for the year waiting on him to get his S*** together.

This was my second colonoscopy at this center. I can’t say enough great things about them. From check in to dismissal I was treated with kindness and compassion. Kelly at the front desk greeted me at 7 am with a smile, Brandi my nurse was so sweet and apologetic when my first IV didn’t work even though I assured her it wasn’t her just my rotten veins!!! The doctors are professional and thorough and I feel like I am in extremely capable hands. I highly recommend this center for quality care!!

This entire practice is a disgrace to the medical field. Arrogant doctors who won't listen to their patients. The staff is incapable of basic tasks like updating records, following through with what they say they will do, scheduling appointments. I wasted 8 years with this group and I am no closer to a solution. They've had me take the same tests over and over with no new ideas or options. It's a joke and a disgrace. If you truly have an issue I would have more faith in someone's pet dog to find an answer than this group.

I’ve been seeing Dr Mu for over 10 years for GI concerns I’ve had. He is so very professional and thorough in care and treatment. Yesterday I had a procedure at their Emmorton Road facility. I was treated like a personal friend or like I was a family member . Excellent care and professional medical facility!!

Dr. Wu is fabulous. My case was medically complicated and he handled it thoroughly and with great care. The facility was great. My nurse, Stacy, was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. Everyone was kind to me and to one another. I was most concerned about the anesthesia, as I have had trouble coming out of it in the past. The anesthesiologist was amazing! I came through with no difficulties and even went to dinner afterwards! I am so relieved. Definitely worth going there!!!!!
