Dr. Wen Xiong, MD

Yes, there is always a long wait to see Dr. Xiong, but she is totally worth the wait! She is very thorough, and steers you in the right direction for better health. She responded to a weekend call from me, and followed through with ensuring my needs were met. You are lucky if you are under her care!

I called the day before to confirm the location because she is associated with Newark Beth Israel Hospital and I left a message. The office staff called me back and I missed the call, and they left me a voicemail confirming the appointment and specifically saying that they can advise on the location. I called the morning off and they told me that I called yesterday and canceled so they gave my appointment to someone else. Clearly incorrect, I tried to explain that no I didn’t cancel I tried to confirm the location and referenced her voicemail. The receptionist then proceeded to get rude to me and said that’s not her confirming the appointment and we canceled so there was nothing else to do. Clearly frustrated at this point, I’m trying to explain that we need to get in there and we waited for two months to see the doctor then she said I was being “disrespectful” to her. A DMV has more respect for its patrons.

I was able to contact Dr. Xiong when my mom was is the hospital for another condition but her gout flared up while in the hospital! Dr. Xiong responded immediately and called in a prescription and told me how to give the medcine to my mom! Resulting in her getting better and being able to walk again! Thank God for caring Doctors Like Dr. XIONG!

She is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. Does not call back in emergencies, Does not tell truth about her practice or follow-thru. I have called her office several times with severe arthritic pain and not received a response. Would never recommend her.

Does not care her patients, does not call back even when she has seen you and told you something is happening. She had to send me to ER, then the doctors could not get her on the phone. When I came out the nest day I started to call, day and night, spoke to her office staff sometimes twice a day, she still have not called back, meanwhile i'm in a lot of pain. Just very stressful and disappointing, and very very scary that this person is supposed to monitoring your health condition!

I couldn't even get anyone on the phone for days to make an appointment. You call, they leave you on hold with an annoying hold message every 15 seconds and then after a few minutes get transferred to voicemail.....and then if you miss their call back you go through the same routine.
