Worst Doctor I've Encountered
i suppose i am lucky that it took me this long to deal with a doctor who is more concerned with what benefits the insurance company instead of what benefits the patient. absolutely heartless person and its incredible that these people are allowed to 'care' for people

My favorite PCP
I have only had great experiences with Dr. Mak and have been seeing her for years. She listens to my concerns and orders blood work when I ask. She has also handled referrals well. Seeing these 1 star reviews were shocking to me, honestly! I don't know what the disconnect is between my experience and others, but she is my favorite PCP I've ever had. She also conducts my well woman exams and I'm very comfortable with her.

Do NOT book with Dr Mak
I booked with Dr Mak even after reading her 1-2 star reviews which were all accurate.The call center takes you in circlesDuring our first visit, I requested a iron panal during blood work she said I didnt need it.She dismissed all my concerns on my PCOS and insulin resistance wanted to give me medication that I had horrible complications with and said there are no solutions for insulin resistance. She is outdated, rude, argumentative and definitely a skip. would never go baxk

avoid at all costs
on top of horrible bedside manner, wendy is incredibly inept at treating even the most common of health conditions, to the point of dispensing factually incorrect medical advice. do not trust her.

Avoid
Dr. Mak has been my PCP for a few months. She makes it incredibly difficult to get referrals. She will speak over you if she doesn't like or care what you are saying. She gives incorrect medical advise i.e. "it's normal to go to the bathroom only twice a week". She doesn't care about patients well being. She forgets pertinent information and cuts appointments short. She will rush you and clearly does not genuinely care about her patients at all. Please avoid.
