Outstanding and Caring Physician
Telehealth
Recently while traveling I developed pink eye. I called ANHC and had an urgent appointment with Dr. Sanders via the telephone. She observed my eye distress via multiple pictures and live streaming. She was able to assist me while I was remote. She truly saved my bacon. I was going to have to cancel my trip and travel home with a possibly contagious eye. Thanks to Dr. Sanders going above and beyond I was able to stay on the project. I was on and get assistance for my new onset medical condition. I have seen lots of other providers at Anchorage neighborhood health center and nobody goes out of their way to help you like Dr. Sanders. Unlike a lot of other medical providers, she offered me several solutions that best fit my financial situation. I personally appreciate not being prescribed a $250 drug when something old-school worked just fine for $22. She is a very busy provider, but has time for her patients when they have a medical concern.

Not a patient, just a number
Visits are always rushed. Staff doesn't listen or communicate very well. While Dr. Sanders seems to know medicine, she lacks 'bedside' manner.

Terrible. The only reason I went to her is because my primary is out of town. She was incredibly brusque and rushed through the appointment as if I was wasting her time. She outright ignored a request put in by another doctor and ignored what I had said about something she seemed concerned about, and went and listed it as abnormal anyway. Extremely rude. I never want to be within a mile of her ever again.

Amazing doctor, she found a problem several other doctors had missed. Obscure issue and easy to see how the other guys had missed it. This is one smart doctor, thank you ma'am.
