Dr. Weredeselam Olango is one of the most unprofessional and condescending doctors I have ever encountered. My wife was hospitalized at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center, and instead of treating her with the care and respect she deserved, he spoke to her like she was an ignorant child. As she was answering his questions, he rudely cut her off and said, “Let me make this simple for you. Answer yes or no.” His tone was demeaning, dismissive, and completely unacceptable for someone in his position. A neurologist should have the patience and professionalism to listen to their patients, not belittle them. Dr. Olango clearly lacks both. His arrogant attitude and lack of basic human decency made an already stressful situation even worse. If you are looking for a doctor who cares about their patients, I strongly recommend you go elsewhere. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated, and I sincerely hope WellStar addresses it before more patients have to endure his disgraceful bedside manner.
