Dr. Harris is an excellent doctor and surgeon, and I feel so fortunate that my PCP recommended him to me. He and I decided on a vaginal hysterectomy along with some other repairs, and the outcome has been very positive. I had very little pain with the surgery and I am recovering nicely. I am so thankful to Dr. Harris for everything he has done for me. I highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Harris. I had been having issues for six years, and he was the first doctor to not dismiss my problems due to my age. He listened, did a thorough exam, determined that I had many issues related to my uterus and ovaries. He talked me through the options, and when I chose the total hysterectomy, he respected my decision and explained the procedure using illustrations. He never talked down to me, and when he asked if I wanted kids, I said no, and it was never brought up again. The surgery went very well, and it's currently five weeks after, and I feel absolutely fabulous. He gave me a better quality of life.

Dr. Harris is wonderful!! I had been having female problems for months. A good friend of mine suggested me to see Dr. Harris. I am so glad I did. Dr. Harris and I discussed the problems I was having and decided a vaginal hysterectomy would be the best option. He explained all the pros and cons of the procedure and even brought a textbook out to show me some detailed pictures. Dr. Harris was very patient, knowledgeable, and really cares about his patients. He came by the hospital the evening after my surgery to check on me and the next morning. The surgery went great, the results were great, and very little pain. I highly recommend Dr. Harris.

I saw him for a second opinion as my Gyno told me to deal with the period related pain and after seven years I was not improving with birth control and Motrin. My doctor also told me insurance wouldn’t pay for any procedure. From age 41 to 48 I suffered and learned to adjust my life. I’ve had no children and no plans to at this point. Dr. Harris suggested a partial hysterectomy and insurance immediately approved it to my surprise. I went in hoping for a small incision and an ovary remaining. I came out of surgery diagnosed with stage four endometriosis and a full hysterectomy. And I’ve never been more thankful. I have my life back because of this Doctor and I’d nearly lost the best of it because of another.

After many years of constant pain thankfully Dr. Harris was able to do a vaginal hysterectomy and relieve all the back pain and pressure I suffered with for years! I knew it was a success the moment I got to stand! I live about 2 1/2 hours from BRMC, but was willing and happy to drive the extra miles to see Dr Harris as a patient. I was told by my previous gynecologist that the only option was a open hysterectomy! I will only see Dr Harris in the future! Its well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive!

I had a complete hysterectomy done in June . Dr.Harris was very professional and compassionate doctor. He spent time before the surgery with me and my family and relieved my concerns about the mass I had in my uterus. The surgery went great, results were great, and very little pain. From his office staff to his nurses, his staff was great. I can't say how confident I am in Dr. Harris, he has just bee great.

I WAS SCHEDULING TO HAVE A HYSTERECTOMY AND MY DR, DR SHELTON WAS LEAVING AND REFERRED ME TO DR HARRIS IN THE SAME GROUP. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME AND WHEN I HAD THE SURGERY HE WAS VERY THOROUGH IN EVERYTHING THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. DR HARRIS WAS VERY NICE AND EASY TO TALK TO. MY COUSIN SEES HIM AND I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. HE'S A VERY GOOD GYNECOLOGIST.

Dr. Harris is a wonderful doctor to have on your side. I am so thankful for the care he gave to me and my family during our pregnancy and for his quick thinking in a less than common delivery that resulted in our baby being handed to us perfectly healthy and whole. I thank God for this man every day!
