Dr. Willard Mann Jr, MD

Dr. Mann was very courteous and professional and patiently answered all of my health questions. I can not recommend Dr. Mann enough as an ER physician.

This man was the ER “doctor” on call at West Feliciana when my cousin was taken to the emergency room presenting with the following symptoms: -nausea-vomiting-hard belly-constipation-inability to pass gasThe hospital ran an unspecified test, but then realized that they had no one on staff who could read the results. Therefore, after 8 hours of waiting, they had to get another hospital to read the results. Willard sent her home with the diagnosis of “colitis”. Fast forward to two days later, my cousin has found herself in a different ER having to have EMERGENCY SURGERY for a FULL BOWEL OBSTRUCTION! An obstruction that she has clearly had for DAYS! How in the world did Willard miss this you might ask? All we do know is that the doctor doing the emergency surgery said that if this had been caught earlier he wouldn’t have had to open her stomach fully and that he could have removed the blockage laparoscopically. Please do not trust this man. He almost cost my cousin her life.

Excellent in all areas.

Dr. Mann is very patient and listens to the patients' concerns. He explains in detail the condition, choices of treatment, if more than one, risks, recoveryand anticipated return to work or previous lifestyle. He is a man of great character and works diligently on behalf of his patients. He is also very supportive of the families. He treated my mother, grandmother and sister. We would not consider seeing anyone else!!!
