Compassionate, attentive, intelligent
He looks you in the eye and he listens to what you have to say. This was my first appointment and it was a good experience. I also appreciate the cartoons in the exam room, they help ease the tension that a patient might feel about the examination.

Dr. Auriemma is an excellent doctor. He very easy to talk to about any pain or problems I'm having with my stomach. I've been seeing him for years and wouldn't go to anyone else. Explains things very well and always asking if I have any questions. His team is top notch as well.

Excellent diagnostician with a kind, easy manner.
Let’s face facts: it’s never a comfortable thing to have to visit the colorectal doctor. It’s embarrassing, feels awkward, and many of us avoid it - some until it’s too late! If you’re nervous about seeing a colorectal surgeon, Dr. Auriemma is a great doctor to see. He makes the whole appointment a very easy experience. He is an excellent doctor by every benchmark, but he’s also a kind human being, and that is clear by the way he treats you during your office visit. In my case, I had my hemorrhoids diagnosed. He is going to remove them in a same-day procedure at the hospital. Eight weeks later I will have my colonoscopy and I’ll be all set. I trust Dr. Auriemma to render kind, compassionate and professional care!

I had him for a colonoscopy and internal hemorrhoid fix today. He was very thorough with his chart review and asked about abnormal lab values and past diagnoses, which I was impressed because doctors in the past have been surprised when I mention past medical diagnoses as if they never read my chart. He had excellent bed side manner and calmed my nerves before the procedure. He was joking about me eating a Denny’s grand slam right after the procedure. I also really liked that he took the time to explain the results of the procedure after and explained exactly what he did during it. He also told me exactly what to expect with recovery. Overall, it was a good experience, and I highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Auriemma literally saved my life and I’ll be forever grateful to him. He was the 3rd Dr. I had seen for my problem and thank God I waited. He tried the least invasive procedure at first and though it worked temporarily the problem returned. He operated on me and I spent a week in the hospital. He came by at least once a day for a lengthy visit. I am completely healed thanks to him. Simply put, he is the best and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I've have had several occasions where I've needed Dr Auriemma. He is an excellent surgeon but almost as important, he is a human being. When you are scared and in pain, you need a doctor who will reassure you, explain a procedure in depth and give you the confidence to believe that everything is going to be fine. I have recommended Dr. Auriemma to anyone who needs a surgeon.

I definitely recommend Dr. Auriemma as I've had him for numerous medical problems. If it wasn't for Dr. Auriemma I might not be here. I was literally starving to death with a condition called Abdominal Angina & my celiac artery 70% blocked. I had that repaired with a stent & I finally started gaining weight again. Also two years after that Dr. found out I had Gastroparesis. I would trust him with My life anytime... I trust him totally.
