Couldn’t have cared less if I was a sack of potatoes sitting in front of him. Never looked at me directly the entire time. Apparently does not know how to smile. Will never ever go back

If I could give Barnard a 0 star rating, I would. Called twice over the course of 5 weeks. First time on 3/13/20 was to help me with case of what I thought may be pneumonia, was given lip service on the phone, declined to be seen due to Covid. Told to stay at home and call 911 if needed. Called again later on 4/13/20, about pain in kidneys that had been occurring off and on for past 5.5 weeks, along with slight fever, sweating, and chills. Given lip service again. Told to go to an orthopaedic doctor for possible muscle pull. I know my body, it is not a muscle pull. Pain in the kidneys with the other symptoms such as sweating, slight fever, and chills comes and goes is not a muscle pull. Explained to nurse, she said "I just work here." UNACCEPTABLE. I will be searching for a new doctor. This one apparently has no interest in medicine, and with the covid scare, is apparently not interested in booking appointments.

Dr Barnard & his staff are always there when my family needs him. Especially at this time of uncertainty! He’s been terrific. Always calling us back within the day. Best bedside manner

I saw Dr. Barnard for the first time today, and I found him to be efficient and professional. I agree with the other commenter, he's not the type to chit chat or make small talk, but that's not what I am there for. He seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. I would definitely recommend him.

I've been seeing the Doctor for 15 years. Although he isn't the biggest conversationalist, he is a no nonsense Doctor. He has always been on top of my health issues, will not easily prescribe medications, and strongly encourages personal healthy lifestyle decisions. He also doesn't schedule unnecessary Doctor visits. If you want to go in and talk about your latest vacation, your grandkids, or what you've been doing in your garden, this is not the doctor for you.
