Making the working conditions unbearable for Dr Biles (read: he tried to be an excellent doctor who listened and had no ego in the game) to the point he left is the worst mistake this practice has ever made. Shame on whoever is in charge. You’ve done a huge disservice to your patients. It’s very clear your new strategy is to hire those who will put money above patients (telling me appointment is over before I’ve covered my concerns and trying to refer out every little thing) and are not empowered to think or act on their expertise. Although the location is extremely convenient, I would rather drive many miles if I can get care similar to that of Dr Biles’ approach to helping people stay healthy. So I’ll be looking for a new primary care physician starting today!

Dr Biles has been our primary physician for 3 generations. Most recently caring for our toddler and infant grandchildren. My wife and I moved to Southbury about 3 years ago and we had been traveling back to New Fairfield in order to continue with Dr Biles as our primary physician. He has been an absolutely wonderful doctor for our family. We were devastated to learn of his resignation.

We have been patients of Dr. Biles since Dr. Lascano retired. I've been going to what was the New Fairfield Family Practice for over 35 years and am devastated that my favorite doctor has left.

My family has been going to Dr Biles for over 20 years. We love him. Unfortunately, we just learned he will no longer be there. Hoping he will be somewhere close where we will surely follow him. Great Doctor and will be missed.

We have been going to Dr. Biles since my kids were little. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He is warm and kind and knows what he is doing. My son still goes to him to this day and he is in his twenties. I would highly recommend.
