Dr. Boykin performed TURP surgery on me, he discharged me to soon without a catheter and I suffered congestive heart failure that night. I went back to hospital and spent the next four days in hospital gaining over 20 lbs of fluid in less than 24 hours. He also caused a fistula at the neck of the bladder which he denied. When asked about my experience, he said "Things Happen" in an uncaring arrogant manner. My purpose in writing this review is to try and prevent another person from experiencing the same care that I received from Dr. Boykin. I almost died from his negligence . This took place the beginning of 2019.

Uncaring. Oversteps his specialty into other medical specialty giving serious diagnosis causing much anxiety without tests to be sure of that diagnosis. Definitely did not inspire trust or confidence.

Dr. Boykin is a wonderful doctor. He took very good care of me - and still does. He gave me his personal cell for any questions or problems I had after procedure, and was quick to respond when I contacted him. He gave me all my options and left the decision to me. I would certainly recommend him to anyone needing a urologist.

Removed left kidney (malignant) October 2011, have had regular follow up and cystoscope since this time. He has always been availablele, understanding and willing to explain each procedure in laymans terms so I completely understand.
