Dreadful doctor. Gossipy, irrelevant, and was weirdly curious about my former husband. Challenged my decision to see a specialist, and encouraged supplements that caused kidney stones. I began seeing him when another doc left the practice.

Very knowledgeable and responsive
Dr. Brorein has been my primary care physician for the past few years. The reason why I initially contacted him was because of his 39 years of experience as an internist. What I like most about him is that he is extremely knowledgeable, attentive and responsive. He answers his own phone which is huge and unheard of in this day and age. As I inch closer to 60 I find that I have more digestive issues including a new lactose intolerance. He has been extremely helpful with providing me with information about this condition and he makes sure to keep me on a schedule of routine maintenance (such as colonoscopies) in order to monitor this condition. I feel like I am in good hands and am lucky to be one of his patients.

Doc is unique, it is true. But I wouldn’t trust my health to anyone else in Rochester. Don’t judge him by his waiting room! Some times he has a busy schedule and can be rushed....mostly because he tries to fit everyone in who needs him. Just ask questions if needed.

I knew this was going to be an awful experience as soon as I walked in the door. The office looks like he is a hoarder. Magazines stakes 100+ in numerous areas in the waiting room as well as dead plants. The front office is piles of papers, food boxes, left over fast food containers it is disgusting. I have a service dog and he also reacted to the environment. When the doctor met me at the door he asked what the dog was for and I stated PTSD he rolled his eyes at me. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. The health department should investigate seriously.
