Awesome,,,my favorite physician since I’ve been going to #StonyBrook.. About 6 years Dr. Caldwell has been relieving my back pain, no other doctor could. He is very professional, yet, personal. I also brought my mom for her back pain. Dr. Caldwell is now working on my neck pain,,,and the staff are fantastic. I highly recommend this office for a professional experience! 5

I was an R.N for 30 years until I was struck by a car, leaving me permanently disabled, due to multiple fractures and injuries. I truly believe that I would be forever wheelchair-bound, and miserable,if not for Dr. Caldwell ,and doctors like him. He CARES,he LISTENS and most importantly-he gives HOPE to the defeated -HOPE that something CAN be done-and WILL be done-to help their affliction. I can't say enough about Dr. Caldwell and his staff- ALWAYS empathetic to patients -usually who are suffering -and many edging toward total despair. The secretary diligently tries to get an appointment for those in severe pain ASAP. After decades as an acute care nurse, and now - many years as a patient- I KNOW good nursing care. The nurses are excellent,in every aspect- from admission- to post care- to follow up with patients via phone.During this very difficult period in fragmented health care, KUDOS to this pain center. Bless you ALL!

Great! He's my favorite Doctor out of many! I've had him for almost 4 years and he's ethical and professional. He's done everything up to this point to ease my pain (next is surgery that won't happen ??) I recommend him to everyone I know. I had 2 previous pain MGMT. Doctors and one handed out opiads like a candy store (so I left him) and the other was "not my cup of tea" No person should be promised that he will shake his magic wand and you'll be healed after (1) treatment and expect opiads with not knowing your history. You can be a junkie for all he knows! It's taking me almost 4 yrs to start feeling mobile again. Love him! Love his staff..especially Sheila!

Having seen numerous pain doctors and surgeons for my back and leg pain I was losing hope that anyone could actually help me until I was referred by a friend to Dr. Caldwell. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. The experience with Dr. Caldwell was very pleasant. The procedure went smoothly and my pain has since been gone. The office staff is also very accommodating and helpful. All appointment, MRIs, and procedures were very easy to schedule.

I recently sought out another doctor for pain management. Reason being that when under Caldwells care he did 2 temporary nerve blocks in my back as required by my ins. Co. If successful, they would cover a longer term procedure. First one worked. 2nd one didn't. New Dr. Explained that 2nd procedure didn't work because Caldwell didn't do procedure in the same place. Incompetent. Cost me a lot of $$. With no result. Scheduled new Dr to do procedure correctly so I can have relief. Beware!!!

If you are looking for a real cure for your pain then he is definitely the doc to see. He took the time to listen to my concerns and came up with the perfect individualized plan for me. He didn't just jump to prescribing pills like the typical pain doctor. I highly recommend him.

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Caldwell. After years of excruciating pain and multiple failed procedures, Dr. Caldwell was the only doctor to provide me with almost complete relief from my chronic debilitating pain. Besides providing the highest standard of care he is also extremely kind, patient, and professional. I highly recommend him.

Was extremely impressed with Dr. Caldwell and the quality of time he took out of his busy day to Sit an discuss all my fears with me. I own a integrative medicine center and know how quick doctors are to dismiss real fear and concern. He sat with me and kept me positive and listened to me carefully to adress all of my concerns. I have a rough road ahead of me but feel a great relief today knowing I will be in competent and caring hands. Definitely will refer him on. Thank you again Dr. Caldwell

After several doctors basically discharged me as they could not find the pain in my side I finally went to see Dr. Caldwell. The pain is debilitating and I was at the end of my rope when I went for my first visit. We are still in the process of locating the exact cause, however Dr Caldwell is not giving up on me which is more than I can say for the orthopedic physicians I saw. I know mine is a difficult case but he has given me hope and I greatly appreciate everything he has done.

I saw Dr. Caldwell for my neck and back pain. I have been in pain for over 20 years. I have received injections from other pain doctors, but these never helped with the pain. From my first visit, Dr. Caldwell made me feel extremely comfortable. He explained my medical problems in my back and neck in a way I could understand. He performed 1 neck injection which relieved all of my neck pain and 2 different procedures for my low back which decreased my pain to 0. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thinks I might have a cancer when I had tests that showed negative on cancer etc he refused to help me to stop the pain. He said the meds is for a patient who have a cancer.. I was like what?? Why did my GI doctor refer me to you? It is wasting of my time to see him. He's completely idiot and do not know how to spell the vocabulary right. I had to criticize his errors. I wouldn't recommend you to see this guy. He's worst and not helpful.
