Dr. William Emlich Jr, DO

Dr Emlich has done more for me than the 3 previous GI Dr's! I've followed from Columbus to Mansfield Ohio ! And would go farther if needed !

Dr. Emlich provided me with excellent care and communicated my medical condition and needs in terms that I could understand.

I have been a pt of Dr. Emlich for several years and I could not have been blessed with a better doctor.

Super unhelpful. Very rude. Had me come in several times for ruling out “structural issues” when he just sat there and talked to me for 5 minutes. Never got anywhere and he talked down on me like he was better than me. Poor communication. Told me I did not communicate whether my medicine was working when I had called them several times but they forgot to make note of it. Do NOT recommend.

What a doctor should e! Takes time to listen. Explains in detail. Gives expert advice. Performer endo and colon scopes very well. Gave me picture of my long ago, someone else fundiplication. Appreciated this.

Thank goodness for Dr.Emlich coming into my life! He thinks out of the box to find out what’s going on and did more in my first visit than the dozen other gastroenterologists I’ve seen. I appreciate the time he took to spend with me and I didn’t feel rushed. I got to my appointment early and only had to wait ten minutes if that and got taken back early. Ordered some tests I should have had done already and praying that he will find some answers! Thank you Dr.Emlich for taking the time to talk to me and to try and figure out what is going on!

He mis diagnosed me with ibs, when i actually have end stage liver disease(cirrhosis) from fatty liver(NASH)

Visit was for my IBS check, always spends more time with his patients than most Doctor's .

Dr. Emlich is one of the best enterologists I have ever had. I was treated at one of the so called "best academic hospital" in town for almost 3 years. No diagnosis was made and the only treatment I've received was symptoms management. Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and unable to eat for over two years until I switched my care to Dr. Emlich. Thank you Dr. Emlich to save my life and I am able to eat again without any problems.

Great doctor and very down to earth! Caring and explained everything in detail so I could understand. And took his time. Definitely worth the drive for me!

1. Overemphasized a disorder I was NOT there to see him about and under emphasized the reason my primary care physician referred me to him in the first place. 2. Arrogant and condescending. 3. Attempted to peddle a variety of prescription medications to me at least a dozen times in the course of 15 minutes and the waiting room was FULL of pamphlets for prescriptions. 4. Made a mockery of my genetic diagnosis 5. Made me wait MORE than an hour to be seen and I was one of the 1st patients signed in

after years of issues Dr. Emlich took the time to think outside the box and with the new medication he found for me I have been doing great for a year now. He is also the only dr. I have had not cause pain during a colonoscopy. Great dr!!!
