Lacking
He came into the room while I was in with our patient who had surgery a day prior. When he came in the room he did not ask who those of us in the room were & our relation to the patient. Then, he proceeded to tell her about her heart murmur in front of all of us. He was purely servicing his ego & showed zero compassion to her reaction to his statements. She had MAJOR surgery the day prior and had done very well in her recovery. He continued to talk about what could be done, the level of intensity, and that she could need another major surgery. This was an absolute nightmare reaction. His bedside manner left a lot to be desired and his compassionate manner and efforts were both checked at the hospital entrance.

Dr. Feingold was the physician who stopped in to check on me at Baylor Hospital (Dallas) in May 2021. I was having a terrible reaction to the adhesive that was applied to the back of my neck after spinal surgery. He was the only person who listened to me, acknowledged the problem and immediately acted by directing the nurse to remove the adhesive/glue from the back of my neck. I ended up with a terrible infection from the glue but it would have been much worse if Dr. Feingold hadn’t been so quick to step in. He listened to me and I will never forget his quick reaction (sharp mind) and kindness.
