Dr. William Frames, MD

I came in for a knee injury that had all the same symptoms as a meniscus tear. Dr. Frames was very dismissive and brief with me in all my visits. He convinced me it would all heal because I'm a 'young boy' and it's just my kneecap out of position. After 2 months of no improvement we get an MRI... Surprise surprise it's torn. It took him 6 weeks from when I got the MRI to tell me that he only does knee replacements and 'we don't do the smaller surgeries'. If you suspected meniscus tear from the beginning, and knew you didn't treat that, why didn't you tell me to go to a different clinic in the first place? Needless to say, Dr. Frames does not work in the best intentions of his patients. I felt like I was milked for insurance money for the past 5 months. Lesson learned to ask ahead of time what treatments you offer because apparently they won't inform you beforehand.

I have been very pleased with all of my care from Dr Frames, he did an excellent job with my hip replacement. He is very kind and always met me with a friendly smile and made me feel comfortable. He was very patient and answered all of my questions.

Dr. Frames did an excellent job on my left knee replacement. I am 80 years old and was nervous but he answered all my questions which put me at ease. He chuckled and said I would not like him after surgery because it would hurt but nothing was like the pain before surgery so I definitely still like him. His staff was friendly and took care of all my appointments. I can’t tell you what it is like to walk pain free. Thank you DR. FRAME.

It was a great experience. I really appreciated seeing Dr Frames when I came out of surgery. My office visits both before and after surgery have been very comprehensive and he answered all my questions and got back to me promptly. Even if I forgot something, he was patient and very kind in his responses. Having my hip replaced was a positive experience. Thank you, Dr. frames.

I can not say enough good things about this outstanding doctor. Tomorrow is two weeks since I had my hip replacement surgery and I feel amazing. He is a skilled surgeon who only adds to the largest Orthopedic Clinic in Lake County. He is funny, warm and friendly while still holding patient care as his top most priority. Thank You Dr. Frames!

I love Lake Ortho as I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Parson so I went back for another issue I was having but needed to see a different doctor who specialized in that area. I went in, had an x-ray and saw Dr. Frames for like 5 minutes max. It felt like he was in a hurry, or really didn't want to be there. I won't go back.
