Dr. Garner to be kind, placates (pacifies) his patients. I not only know this from my own visit but also hearing this in the waiting room, others discussing this about him. I once had a pulmonologist do this same thing. He too would say "You're doing so fantastic - so very fantastic that it couldn't get any better!". And, yet there were many things abnormal on results from testing Dr. Garner ordered for me (including heart enlargement). The descriptions of "perfect" led me to feel like I was being conned. So, apparently Dr. Garner wants office visits, but it's too much trouble to discuss treatment or needed changes in treatment. Will patients suffer or possibly die younger than necessary because of his harried and hurried office visits? You are not given test results on paper (I did find a way to get them) and he will not post them on a patient's portal securely online. This makes the portal worthless other than your bill being placed on it. This is severe lack of compassion.

Dr. Garner and his staff are very caring. They are very good with my mother who has AFIB. His nurse Danita is EXCELLENT. She always answers any questions I need, returns my calls and turns our concerns over to Whitney, his Physician's Assistant or Dr. Garner who call us back promptly!

Dr. Garner is a an excellent cardiologist. He saved my mom's life with CT angiography and follow-up care. Which is why my whole family now sees Dr. Garner. He is thorough, patient, and has a great bedside manner. He also takes time to explain not only the procedure or surgery, but prognosis and after care instructions.
