Dr. William Houck III, MD

Dr. Houck is an amazing doctor that has treated all 3 of my kids. He has helped us figure out some crazy situations. His years of experience makes him an exceptional doctor!!!

We switched to Dr Houck after having multiple issues with my son’s GI drs. After months of dealing with diarrhea and vomiting Dr Houck was able to get it under control quickly. He listened to us and was very thorough. He was able to Diagnose my son with EOE and so far the treatment is going well only one flair up this year. Hoping my son can gain enough weight to qualify for the shot vs all these medicines.

He done everything he could for me!!!! He found out that I had EOE which is Esophinillic Esophagitis. He has been very well and recommended me to an amazing doctor once I aged out of his office. He was truly the best doctor ever! Highly recommend. It is very hard to get an appointment with him because he is that great of a doctor! Love him very much

I made an appointment with Houck about 6 months ago. He put me on a pill and did a procedure. I just recently found out that the pill was making me gain weight and have a HUGE increase of appetite. While reviewing symptoms of the pill he failed to mention those symptoms. During my visit he kept saying that he would “look into things” instead of a direct answer. I strongly wouldn’t recommend this doctor to people who are trying to find answers just like me.

Dr Houck doesn’t listen to the patient or the parents. He always says “ Let me do some research.” Which doesn’t make you feel like he knows much about his specialty. He rushes in and rushes out and barely takes any time with you.

We saw Dr Houck on 4/8/22 and he was one of the best doctors we have ever seen in regards to our child! He came highly recommended from several people abs we drove an hour just to see him! He took his time, addressed us as parents, spoke to our baby and established rapport with him, confirmed what we had thought was going on and made us feel 100% about the situation and resolution! We look forward to recommending him in the future, he’s the best in the business!

I would like to post a review of Dr. Houck and his treatment of my son but we can't get an appointment. His office has received the referral six (6) times. Faxed directly from Humana military and followed up with a call to confirm receipt. On the one ( sixth attempt) occasion they found it they would not make an appointment without my son's medical records, but only his the last two office visits. Why? Isn't knowing more better? The referral clerk IS VERY rude and hung up on us. Stay away.

I absolutely love this doctor. He has been do awesome with my son.

Couldn't schedule anything correctly. Had to drive 45 minutes to an appt that was not for the right date. Went to the next (rescheduled) appt and it was cancelled on us! Doctor said the order was stat, but he didn't put it in for stat. Son had to fast for both appts and take off school and work. They couldn't even get the blood/fecal tests correct. Wasted 2 trips on this too...unbelievable!
