Dr. Isbell is a great communicator and surgeon. The staff was very pleasant and professional. My surgery had a positive outcome. Overall a great experience.

I have seen Dr Isbell several times over the last 8 years. He has treated my left shoulder and I’m very happy with his care and willingness to explain the diagnosis and treatment options! He identified my left arm issues due to a spinal issue and referred me to a neurologist. In a few years my shoulder had issues and needed surgery to repair the issue. You can absolutely trust Dr Isbell with your care!

Went in for pain on a shoulder that Id previously had surgery on. Was given a steroid injection and encouragement. Lovely lovely man. In fact his whole staff is as well. I can’t recommend him enough!Great bedside manner

Dr. Isbell has a relaxed, congenial presence, all the while getting directly to business. Efficient and effective. I highly recommend him as a surgeon. I had a full tear of the supraspinatus tendon, of which he repaired and thus far (13 weeks in) I am extremely pleased with the outcome.

I have been having pain with my right shoulder (he replaced my left one 5 years ago). My visit was wonderful; needing a second shoulder replacement.

The Dr. was with me at most 10 minutes, asked minimal questions and talked over me, at one point saying 'I do this for a living and you don't.' In the days following the appointment I have grown more and more upset thinking about the lack of care and concern demonstrated and the know it all attitude. I rarely go to the doctor, when I do it's because it's serious and if I am going to take the time to go and pay the money, I'd like th doctor to take the appointment seriously, seek information and collect more data than just his assumption that he knows everything. I mentioned that I had seen a physical therapist and he didn't even ask my what I had done with the PT. This dr. was recommended to me by the PT so I was very disappointed. Now I am left to question the diagnosis. When I looked in Patient Portal there was one sentence. No recommendations, no guidance on what to do it it doesn't improve, no advice....overall very upsetting.

My visit was on time. Dr Isbell was attentive, concerned, and affable. And the treatment was effective.

Today I met Dr. Isbell. He spent the time to get to know me before going into the medical issue I was as visiting him about. He had x-rays taken in minutes, then told me his diagnosis and recommended treatment. Right to the point. We discussed options, and he fully explained the pros and cons of options I asked him about. He my kind of preferred physician.

He explained my shoulder issue clearly and now I understand what I’m feeling and what I need to do.Dr Isbell prescribed PT so I can take good care of it to prevent surgery.The whole experience was very positive.
