Then in 2009 had to have another surgery done in a different state before dr Jason moved out of pa and came to fl . Not the best dr that’s for sure . Horrible medical practice
This doctor charged for treatment he didn't in fact do. He charged for aspiration of a cyst when all he did was inject a steroid. He didn't allow time for an anesthetic spray to work and it hurt like crazy. His nurse laughed and said that he does the all the time. No aftercare instructions. Never again!

I have seizures. I went to his office for an appointment to get my MRI results and he refused to see me because of the possibility that I could have a seizure. I was told to be evaluated by a doctor at the ED. I explained that it was normal for me to have a seizure, and they refused to see me and said I was a liability. I felt discriminated against. I have never had a Dr treat me this way.

I went to him for excruciating knee pain. I was hoping for kindness and an MRI, I got neither. He acted like it was just old person arthritis and gave me a cortisone shot that didn't work, that was it. I tried to tell him that this was pain like I have never had before. He didn't seem to care or listen. After reading all the glowing reviews I was so looking forward to his help and expertise. I was sadly disappointed. I am still limping in pain with no end in sight. Very upsetting.

I had my shoulder surgery done by Dr Jason (6/19). His office from pre surgery thru post surgery was Awesome, no complaints. My Spouse had the same surgery several years earlier by a different surgeon and was in tremendous pain after the block wore off, granted everyone is different, but then also later had to have a closed manipulation after a couple months. Partly the pain since unable to exercise as much as should, but went to Select Physical Therapy and still needed the closed manipulation, as Dr felt not enough range acquired. Again Dr Jason and staff are Awesome! No problems ??.

Would not recommend this doctor. If possible I would give a zero star rating. Very dismissive attitude and very callous toward his patient. The most uncaring and worst exam I have ever experienced.

Dr. William J. Jason completed a Total Knee Replacement last December with minimal pain and zero issues...yesterday I had a Total Shoulder Replacement and was out in just over 24 hours with minimal pain and no signs of any issues thus far...the Team of Professionals that took care of me, from Surgeon Dr. Jason thru all others were very attentive, polite and a pleasure to deal with...I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank You Dr. William J. Jason for all that you have done for me!!! Sincerely, Joe Jarrell :-)

Didn't seem to have the time, patience or interest in anything I was trying to convey to him about my hip pain and prior hip problems. Barely looked at x-ray - said he saw no problem and that I should maybe try exercise and to go back to prior doctor. After having had 11 prior hip surgeries (3 total hip replacements) due to being born with congenital bilateral hip dysplasia 60 years ago, I knew exercise was NOT going to help. He was very cold and brief. making me glad he was not going to be my doctor.

I had recently moved from NH and very spoiled by all my expert doctors and surgeons there. I'm very picky about doctors and do a lot of research including their all their academics and medical training. That is why I chose to go to Dr. Jason. His credentials are outstanding. I instantly liked his office staff, and his assistants. Qualifications brought me to him so I was pleasantly surprised that he was personable, knowledgeable, and has a sense of humor. He explains things very well and shows you issues on the xrays. I found Dr. Jason to be spot on about everything. They even give you a sheet with exercises to do to help fix your problems and his assistants show you themselves how to do them. Even supplied some bans! I didn't have to go to several visits at the physical therapists to get all the exercises. I spent 10 months in PT after breaking my femur and learned that the most important exercise is what you do at home on a schedule.

Not a very caring doctor. Spent very little time (5-7 min max) for a new patient visit. Was extremely rough in the exam even though he could see I was experiencing a lot of discomfort. Showed no interest in my condition and was quite dismissive. Gave an injection and very little Instructions or advice on how to make the situation better.

As a new resident to the Hernando area I needed to locate an orthopedic to assess a problem I was having. The appointment was made quickly and the wait time was short. Dr. Jason was pleasant and took care of my issue with a follow up appointment scheduled to check on my progress. I would recommend Dr. Jason to anyone looking for an orthopedic.

Dr. Jason's Reply –
Thank you!!!
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Jason?
The assisting nurse must have been having a bad day. She was rude and slammed the door, dont take frustration out on the patient. Dr Jason couldn’t help and basically shrugged his shoulders at me and pushed me off on another Dr. I was told I had osteoarthritis by another Dr, Dr Jason is supposed to specialize in this but it was never mentioned. It’s on to another Dr for answers.
