Dr. William Kaz, MD

I originally was very excited to have such an experienced doctor but he just pumped me FULL of high dose medications and diagnosed me as Bipolar 1 within MINUTES of meeting me. Despite my therapist insisting it was CPTSD not Bipolar 1. The medicine never helped. He just kept upping the dose. I gained 40lbs and have never been the same. He told me to have my partner take care of me because I would never work again, or drive, or be able to pursue my career. I trusted him and he was out for the bottom line. I cannot lose the weight no matter how hard I try and I’m trying to get past how traumatic the experience was. I feel so wronged by the system and by him and it’s so upsetting because in the moment I thought he was looking out for my best interest. I will never trust a psychiatrist again.

Doesn't listen. Just a lousy doctor overall. Should retire.

I was excited and optimistic that he was a doctor that had many years of experience. I was hoping to learn some amazing coping techniques, and ways for me to continue my growth and mental health stability. Unfortunately, this was not the case. My first visit with the doctor was dreadful, the appointment was very long and difficult as I had to continually repeat myself at an ever-increasing volume, to the point that it felt as though I was yelling at him. The care that he provided seemed like a checklist with questions that seem to come directly from a book, rather than to get to know me and understand me. Many of my mental health problems returned especially my depression. Dr. Kaz was a doctor that did listen to me especially when I expressed, I was experiencing thoughts of harming myself, and that I needed medication support to better understand the side effects and how to cope with them. I would call him, and he would not ever return any of the calls. His voice mail box was consisten

I transfer clinics to Hollywood mental health clinic - I was assign to Dr.Kaz . At my very first appointment I thought Dr.Kaz was rude lol because he would answers my Questions with "What" then i noticed that's how he answers questions to anyone who asks lol .He has changed all my medicines which was really sweet of him. Since then he has been a great doctor and has been putting a lot of effort into my recovery! Thank you Dr Kaz! I really recommend Dr Kaz he is a great doctor :D
