Friendly and very experienced Doc.
Doc was always up front with me and always let me the pros and cons of decisions made . Total knee at week four feel great !!

He always tell you in detail, from the condition you are in now to choosing rehab or surgery,to being patience before rushing to surgery. He also draw pictures on the complete surgery procedure. He keep it simple. I like that, because it makes my final decision simple.

Dr. Kohen is the best! I highly recommend him.
Dr. Kohen has such a calm, friendly way about him. He performed a total knee replacement on me thirteen years ago and my knee is still pain free. Of course it helped that I followed through on the recommended physical therapy following the surgery. I call this team work!

Dr. Kohen is a compassionate, caring and competent physician that looks me in my eyes and see’s me as a human being. He’s patient, taking the time to listen and treat my condition based on his lengthy years of orthopedic experience. While this journey has not been easy, Dr. Kohen and staff has been remarkable. The Best Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr Kohen has operated on my broken elbow and both knees. Recently he did a reconstruction of my left knee. He is informative and highly skilled. I have recommended him to many of my friends.

This Doctor is absolutely super !
This was a return visit. I first met Doctor Kohen about 6 years ago. He assured me I was in good shape but eventually would need his expertise. My current visit is my “eventually”! Dr Kohen explains everything so anyone can understand. Great Doctor !

Dr Kohen is very skilled and knowledgeable, but quite difficult to access after hours and on weekends. His Associates have PA's on call, but he does not. He is not accessible on surgery days is not in the office parts of day's during the week. Since opiates are a part of every TKR, it is hard to get script renewals processed in a timely fashion, leaving me without pain relief for several days at a time.

I met Dr. Kohen today. I had injured my knee about 9 mos ago and needed professional advice as to what my future held for this joint. I was a little scared about what he might recommend because people had warned me that generally a surgeon always recommends surgery. Dr. Kohen’s demeanor, which was both professional and friendly, put me at ease immediately. He went over my MRI and told me surgery was not needed. He gave me good advice on home care. I would see him again and recommend to friends.
