Dr. William Kuehnling, MD

I've been a patient for many years. Dr Kuehnling listens very well. He is genuinely concerned about his patients. I really value that he doesn't over-prescribe medication. He knows I prefer more homeopathic solutions. I have every confidence in his care for me.

My mother recently had a concerning CT scan. This doctor’s office never called! Thankfully, my mother had results sent to another doctor or we’d never know. Unacceptable

I love going to Dr K..I’ve been his patient for about 30 yrs ..he’s always friendly ...professional ..and concerned. He is unique in his treatment of you. I will say I am not often impressed by the staff that works there ...friendliness is lacking and a cold or bad attitude (esp on the phone) is more common than I think should exist! If you can get past them to the Dr ..you will be pleased! Not all of them are like that but enough are...going there for 30 yrs I do not know even one of the office staff’s name ..ever in 30 yrs..that speaks to me!

Transferring to Lancaster Medical and Dr. Kuehnling was one of the best decisions i ever made . Wait time is minimal. Dr. Kuehnling takes his time discussing our care; Everything is explained thoroughly. ON OCCASION WHEN I HAVE HAD TO CONTACT THE OFFICE FOR AN UNSCHEDULED APPOINTMENT THEY HAVE ALWAYS MADE SURE I WAS SEEN THE SAME DAY.

I have been with Dr. Kuehnling for over 20 years now. He is patient, compassionate and he actually listens to you. I have great confidence in him and I'm an RN!

Dr. Kuehnling is a great and kind Docotor who has no control over the practice. I tried to make an appointment and was told after 12 years of being a patient that I had been removed from the practice. I asked why and they said it was due to my changed insurance. I told them I had that insurance for at least 2 visits and they didnt say anything then. They were listed as a participator and BCBS verified it later with me. I had never been treated so poorly at a dr's office before. Abandonement

Misdiagnosed family member’s cancer for a year before sending to outside specialist who eventually sent him to Roswell Park. After devastating diagnosis of cancer at 32 years old, we never heard from Dr. Kuehnling. We missed annual physical due to cancer treatments & were sent a letter saying we were unfit patients & dropped from practice. Left message for Dr. Kuehnling to see if this was a mistake & haven’t heard back. Office will treat you as a billing opportunity only & has no compassion.

I also got dropped for being "non compliant". Dr. K only works here and seems to have no say in how things are run. I like him, but this is not the first time I have been treated poorly by the office staff. Time to find a new place

You see the dr for physicals but if you call for anything other you see PA. Didn’t have flu shot when needed. They charged me co-pay for physical when it was supposed to be no co-pay and said it was in case they had to do something else and if not would be refunded and when asked for it they said they had to charge me because I had an early morning appointment. Was not told that when I scheduled appointment. They seem desperate for money

Also got dismissed from Lanc Med practice (after 25 yrs!) I called & the staff was unprofessional, rude, and incapable of providing a reason except to label me noncompliant. Asked if Dr K knew & they snapped 'he has nothing to do with this'. When I objected to the random policy, they asked if I wanted them to reconsider. I called them 2+ mos later and they said they forgot to call to tell me 'no'. Dr K is a good, kind doc but sadly the nastiness of office policies & staff negates his positives

I WAS SEEING THIS PRACTICE TILL FEB 2017 ... TILL I GOT A CERTIFIED LETTER STATING I WAS DROPPED FROM THERE ... CALLED AND ASKED TO FIND OUT WHY NEVER GOT A CALL BACK ON WHY I WAS DROPPED.FROM READING OTHER REPORTS ON THIS PRACTICE I SEE THAT MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DROPPED FOR NO REASON . I WOULD NEVER REFER ANYONE TO GO THERE AT ALL

Worst experience with a doctor and his office in over 60 years!

I have had nothing but great experience with Dr. Kuehnling. The Lancaster Medical Office itself tends to be a bit disorganized, and I cannot speak for the other doctor, but I would feel comfortable recommending Dr. Keuhnling to any of my family members and friends.

I've been seeing Dr. Kuehnling for years now; starting when it was easy to get a quick appointment with him. Not so easy now; he gets booked pretty full. He's a gentle soul who gives of his time as freely as he can. Listens well. Good guy!
