Dr. William McBroom, MD

Outstanding Doctor who takes time to listen and is very thorough in his care for his patient. There is no better doctor than William McBroom. I highly recommend him for any medical need.

He really listens to my medical concerns.

Poor service, no one answers the phone or return call , when I have a family member that needs his prescription refilled .

McBroom treats patients/clients at Monument Inn in La Grange, Texas. My dad is currently at this location for rehab. McBroom has NEVER met him yet writes orders. Dad has a catheter and it needs to be removed or he needs to see a urologist or both. Early one morning 2 AM following orders nurse removed catheter and at 4 AM returned to take him to the rest room. He only discharged a little urine. The catheter was put back in. Now I ask you - could you pee on demand? I thought so.

For insurance reasons I had to switch doctors, which is always hard to do as over time you develop a strong doctor/patient relationship built on trust and mutual respect. I live in Paige so when one of the choices available to me was the McBroom Clinic in Giddings I jumped as my last primary care physician was in South Austin. I was lucky and still consider myself to be when Dr. Ashraf accepted me as a patient. Not only do I feel that he listens to me but he is proactive and thorough. John F.

My name is Maurice Bell and I had been a patient at the location in Giddings for over two years. I started out with Dr. Ortega. He was a great doctor. Unfortunately, he left the practice there in Giddings. Dr. Ashraf was my doctor during the last year I was treated there. Dr. Ashraf does not have enough knowledge in order to treat those patients with hypertension. Hey also is difficult to communicate with. He's rude and insensitive. I stopped going there for that reason.
