Dr. William McGee II, DO

Broke my wifes femurs , now has a plate and screws in leg; failed to issue pain meds while recovering.

I had an intrarticular comminuted distal radial dislocation and styloid ulnar fracture stated on the ER report. The ER dr reset it internally. Dr McGee was casual, didn’t treat my injury seriously. The cast he placed was killing me with burning pain so I made an appt to get it evaluated. It was then I was told they had just moved locations and didn’t have all of their casting supplies. They cast my extremely painful wrist with thin cloth sleeve and sharp fiberglass. NO PADDING! They tried to improvise with a 2nd, shorter cast with gauze for the next week. At the 3rd appt I saw his MA. Finally casted me with the proper materials - padding! I had the proper cast for a total of 2 weeks. At the finally appt, they X-ray it. I’m in immense pain at the wrist, he says “not sure why you’re having pain. There’s plenty of bone there. I can refer you to a hand specialist to fix it” . No it’s not. Saw hand specialist in WA. It is rotated 30 degrees wrong direction AND fused WRONG!

I WENT IN WITH HIP/MUSCLE ISSUE FOR 2ND VISIT IN 1.5 YEARS. MY ORIGINAL APT WAS CANCELLED BY THE DR. THE HIP ISSUE WAS CONTINUALLY OVERLOOKED- I GOT INJECTIONS IN MY BAD KNEES AND NOW NEED TO FIND SOMONE ELSE WHO WILL FOCUS ON MY PAIN AND IT'S CAUSE

Dr McGee repaired my shoulder after a previous orthopedic surgeon did TWO surgeries on the same shoulder and told me that there was nothing more that could be done with my shoulder. I was still in a LOT of pain, my wife’s co worker recommended McGee. He was able to determine that I had more issues that were not addressed by my previous Surgeon. These issues were a big reason for all of the pain that I still had. He performed the surgery and I am well on my way to a full recovery. You will not find a more caring, friendly, detailed, and down to earth Orthopedic surgeon, along with great Staff anywhere here in Vegas. If you have any Orthopedic issues , DO NOT look anywhere else! Call McGee

Outstanding Sports doctor that truly understands the athlete's perspective and sincerely wants to help the athlete get back to their game. Very different than most doctors and is able to think outside the common protocol to treat each patient based on their individual needs.

Excellent repair of a large Rotator cuff tear. Very personable. Easy to talk to.

Was having pain in my elbow. Dr. McGee diagnosed it right away as tennis elbow "and you don't have to play tennis to get it". He gave me the option to have a cortisone injection and follow up using an anti inflammatory gel. The injection worked well as he hit the spot right on target using ultra sound guided device. He said it would probably take a few weeks for things to get better. The anti inflammatory gel was also helpful. It's now been a few weeks and the elbow is much better. Terrific Doctor. Thank you Dr. McGee.

I chose to bring my daughter to see Dr. McGee because I’ve worked with him in the past and love that he not only treats several athletes but he was an athlete himself in the past. He is calm, rational, and spoke directly to my daughter. I was so impressed with his approach, I went back and let her gymnastic coach know this is a solid referral location for the gymnasts...and Lord knows they are always breaking bones and needing to see an orthopedic.

First saw Dr McGee for left shoulder pain. I received injections initially to treat my condition and later surgery. I am still in the recovery process. Dr McGee and staff have been very professional and efficient. The office wait time has been minimal on every visit. Everything I have needed has been handled quickly and with ease. Dr McGee is always pleasant. He explains procedures and treatment options. I have only positive things to say.

When I broke my arm I couldn't find a doctor to even look at it to get it set. The emergency room sent me home with a sling and a list of doctors to call. I reached out to my insurance company who contacted Dr McGee. He wasn't accepting new patients but he took my case. He explained the different options available to me, all of which ended in a shoulder replacement some time down the road. I opted for the replacement now. So thankful to him for his help.

Recently had knee surgery, no crutches after one day, no pain meds. Highly recommend!

Dr.McGee is great! Easy to talk to, he understood our sons injury and was able to help him get back on the field. He is knowledgeable, friendly and patient. The staff is exceptional.

Friendly, professional and very up to date practice. I have had a wrist surgery last year and Cortisone injection on base of thumb for Arthritis. I felt I was in good hands.

I’ve had multiple occurrences in this office and every time I am more than happy with the help I’ve received. The service and the people are always more than kind and go over the top with helping you get the best care possible. Most recently, I came in for a knee injury that happened during one of my cheer practices, and was able to be brought in the very next day following the event. Dr McGee was able to get me an MRI the next day after that and straight to surgery not even the next week. Without him, my devastation of the extent of my injury would have overcome me and I wouldn’t have been able to recover as well as I did, as quickly as I did. Dr McGee and his team have been the most willing to prepare all of their patients to be treated and healed as quickly and efficiently as possible. I have recommended him to several of my family members and friends to help them receive the overwhelming care I did.

Absolutely 5 star doctor and staff!! I had meniscus and rotator cuff surgery on the same day. Dr. McGee is a true professional and easy to have a conversation with. Mike with Exos therapy is great to work with also. It’s a one stop shop. Very professional!!!

2 knees 2 shoulders in 3 years Very very satisfied I will do it again if I had to he is the best thanks doctor I am 69 years old and I feel like a bionic man

We went to Dr. McGhee for a 2nd opinion. The office was able to fit us in on the same day and the front end staff were very professional and kind. He was very friendly and helpful. He sees a lot of athletes and that gave us a real peace of mind.

Dr McGee is very attentive and took the time to explain the injury and what procedure to be done. Surgery on mcl went very well with little scars. Office staff has also been great
