Did not accept Medicare
Had 2 hip surgeries withing a 4 week period ending Jan. 2023. Orthopedics Dr. had to perform WASHOUT because incision opened 4 weeks out. All previous surgery and anesthesia was completely covered by supplemental insurance and Medicare, until I received an over $3500 bill from Dr. McKinney's office and the nurse anesthetist who assisted him. WAS IN SHOCK, and was never told this anesthesia would not be covered. A very bad ending to a very bad situation!
