Dr M replaced my right knee, operated on left wrist from being broken but botched my right wrist when I broke it. He just set it. Another option said should have had surgery for graft, plate, screws. I am left with right wrist that healed deformed and painful all the time. He screamed at me while he was setting it as I was crying uncontrollably from pain. He was rude, crude and shouldn't be allowed to practice. I wish I had taken my issue to the medical board. I saw signs of his behavior with my other issues and I'm mad at myself for not changing drs when I had the chance. I was told after it healed badly to redo it usually doesnt turn out well. Everyday I'm reminded of dr m because of the pain and the way my hand looks.. We need to be sure we are in the best care possible and wearing a white coat doesnt make you a dr. Please dont be afraid to ask questions. Drs aren't God. Every chance I get weather asked by other people or drs, what happened to my hand, I certainly tell them. .

My name is Michele Cole and I am writing on behalf of my mother Beverly Blair who lives in Memphis, TN who visited the office of East Memphis Orthopedic for her spinal stenosis and sciatic nerve pain. She was originally suppose to have an appointment with Dr. Peter B. Lindy but for some reason Dr. W. Lee Moffatt was the Dr. In which she saw today 08/25/2020. From the second that he walked in the door to greet my mother he was rude and obnoxious. Ordinarily a new Dr. To a new patient would greet them with a “ Hello my name is XXXX” how are you doing today? “. Not Mr. Moffatt and to be honest he should not even be addressed as DR. In this situation because he did not perceive to be one today the way that he spoke to my mother, Beverly Blair, was down right disrespectful. I believe the assumption that he had of my mother was that she was on drugs or a drug addict well that is what the conversation in a round about way lead her to believe he thought she was based on the verbiage he

I had been getting shots in both knees from another Dr. for over 2 years and they quit working. I wasn't happy with the answers he gave me about surgery. And a friend of mines daughter had trained under Dr. Moffatt and she highly recommended him. He did one knee in June and it is excellent. Now I am having the other one done in Oct. It took me over 10 years to find him and wouldn't think of going any place else. Thank you so much, Sr. Moffatt.
