I expected better care from a doctor with his background. I complained to many doctors for years of some pain that got worse. I found Dr. Nelson, and even he dismissed my complaints and did not tests. After 4 years of seeing doctors in the Crystal Lake / Elgin area----I sought help else where. In September I went to Geneva and in less than 30 minutes the doctor said I would need a surgeon, and he helped me find one immediately. He is a nice man, but just did not tests, until I also left the area, and went to an ER in Elmhurst (away from Advocate hospital care) and finally found doctors who could see how much pain I was in. Other doctors did the tests he should have ordered.
