Dr. Nickel is a great surgeon!
My daughter had 4 wisdom teeth removed. He made her feel so comfortable and she had barely any swelling! I feel so fortunate that she was in such good hands. I highly recommend him!

Hiring Dr. Nickel was one of the worst mistakes of my life. I cant describe all the negligence with the amount of space provided. In short: I had him extract my wisdom teeth, and one of them was infected. I have chronic illness, & one of my worst symptoms is terrible and persistent brain fog; that cleared up immediately after the surgery. But a few hours later, started to feel foggy again. A considerable amount of pain came back to one extraction site. I developed dry socket despite following instructions meticulously. I kept returning to see him because of terrible symptoms, but he just kept being dismissive and saying I’m cured. Eventually got annoyed with my complaining Well later on, I found a piece of tooth while eating. Dentist said he must have left it in the site and failed to notice. Years later, I have daily jaw pain. The brain fog is so bad I’m disabled. I always have a rash on my jaw over the area. The infection seems linked to heart pains. Im in really, really bad shape

I was referred to Dr. Nickel to perform a cavitation surgery on a root canaled tooth and with total health in mind. I felt truly cared for. He took time to explain everything throughout his care and afterward. The office uses air safety measures and I felt safe during the pandemic. Materials and procedures offered have long term health and healing as priority. I will refer friends and family.

Explained my procedure very well; he really went out of his way to do so, then asked if I had any further questions. He explained so well that I asked him if he ever taught dentistry. Yes! He didn’t hurry me, and he was very kind. He’s a great dentist. And amusing as well.

DR. NICKEL LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE! Prior to him, my health had declined for 25 yrs, not knowing the cause. Several auto immune diseases developed, to where many days I couldn't function. I found out through Dr. Nickel, I had blood infection and bone infection/dead bone in my jaw due to a failed procedure when I was 15 yrs old to remove a wisdom tooth. That oral surgeon (don't remember his name) neglected to inform my family he left a portion of my tooth in me which became very neurotoxic. Found out 30 yrs later from a dentist, the wisdom tooth chip was still in me. A 2nd attempt to remove it failed. The tooth wouldn't budge and was on a nerve. I discovered Dr. Nickel, who showed me through x-rays I had dead bone in my jaw. He removed the tooth and infection with 100% success! No numbness, my energy came back and two follow-ups showed I healed beautifully. Dr. Nickel is humble, kind-hearted, patient and talented. Thank you, Dr. Nickel from the bottom of my heart! God bless you!

Was quoted $550 over the phone before my appointment for an extraction. Left with a bill over $1200 because Dr. Nickel said I had to get a bone graft and made it seem like it was the norm. They never got back to me and refused to reimburse the difference. Am also having pain in my extraction site 5 months later. Very unfortunate considering my holistic dentist referred me to him!

Dr. Nickel goes above and beyond to explain things thoroughly and ease patient's nerves. He is very knowledgeable and I completely trusted him with my daughter's care. He even went beyond expectations to contact my daughter's intergrative doctor in St. Louis to discuss her procedure and care. He's compassionate, kind and an extremely talented doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Nickel. The hour and a half drive one way was well worth it!
