I felt a strong and positive connection with Dr. Oppat immediately on our first visit. He has been well prepared for each of our appointments. He takes the time needed to explain things thoroughly, answer questions, and to be sure I’ve understood what he’s said and is proposing. He has a great sense of humor and knows when to let it shine through in a helpful way. He listens well and makes sure he understands and is understood. My experience with Dr. Oppat tells me he is a remarkable doctor and an exceptional human being. I am very grateful for our relationship.

Upon meeting him around 5:30 pm (late cuz he got stuck in MI traffic jam) he was warm and welcoming. He was "glad" to meet me and thoroughly explained my mom's condition and options. Post surgery he thoroughly explained procedures and the outcomes. His choice of action and skilled implementation allowed my mom to keep her leg. He is a wonderfully skilled surgeon and stellar human being!

Dr. O laughed at each of my cause of injury. That put me at ease!
