Unprofessional and doesn't keep office hours
I waited over two months for an appointment only for him to cancel the week before my appointment. The only other appointment time was two months in the future. This doctor has a total disregard for patient care.

Rushed visit
The time spent was less than 5 minutes. Also, a large fee is charged for the ' facility fee' - I would pay if I had more confidence on the physician

Felt Rushed
The visit felt rushed. I was not interested in having surgery but wanted to explore injections or some other options. The doctor seemed to be unhappy that surgery was not my first choice.

I had spine surgery . I never saw him after the surgery even though my hospital stay was long and I has issues after the surgery . I asked the nurses and they said he doesn’t come up to the floor but just sends his residents.

My mother saw him in the last month; Waited 2 hours and he spent less than a minute with her. Bedside manor was horrible & he explained absolutely nothing. What a disgrace to the medical community.

My experience with Dr Payne was not one that shown any real concern. His level of compassion was zero. He had his interns come in and talk to me and then he would come in and spend less than 5 minutes talking about who he wanted to refer me to. Never once did I feel any concern about how I really felt. I feel he has no bedside manner or warmth. I kept going to him thinking he would get warmer once he got to know me and that never happened. I am not coming back.

I have visited Dr. Paynes office 3 times now and combined he has only spent a max of 10 minutes in the room. The majority of the visits were spent either waiting or answering the same questions to the numerous medical assistants and medical school residents that were in and out of the room. When Dr. Payne was actually in the room he was not very friendly and didn't smile once. He was not very thorough and his "treatments" have made the reason i saw him in the first place worse.

This doctor should not be practicing. I was referred by physical therapist who said I probably had a spinal problem. I saw Dr Payne again. And he blew her off. Fortunately to do a chain of events. I had surgery done by another orthopedic surgeon and avoided being paralyzed. I have absolutely no faith in
