The best!
Dr. Post is very thorough with his evaluations. If you need surgery, he is absolutely the best when it comes to explaining what will happen beforehand and what to expect afterwards, always taking his time and never making you feel rushed. His staff is equally as competent. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.

Great Experience
When I saw my PCP about issues I've been experiencing with my hands, I was initially referred to see neuro but they weren't able to see me until several months later. Dr. Post and his staff was able to book me in MUCH sooner (the following week after seeing my PCP). The entire experience was very pleasant; the office was extremely clean, front office staff were kind and presentable, and the x-ray tech was warm and welcoming. When Dr. Post came in to see me, I explained my symptoms and concerns. He was very attentive, observant, considerate of my concerns, and was very informative. Although my diagnosis is still to be determined, I appreciate that he didn't immediately conclude to a final diagnosis for my symptoms and have me resort to medication. I also appreciate the reassurance that came with the knowledge and education he took the time to provide.Sorry for the lengthy review, but I really appreciate Dr. Post and staff! I highly recommend seeing him at Mountaineer Orthopedic.

Dr. Post …a physician who listens to you
Over a period of 10 plus years, I appreciate that Dr. Post actually listens to me, so as to learn more about my problem and how to determine the best solution for me. He is totally focused on identifying the most conservative and prudent approach to my wellness and recovery. I really appreciate that surgery is not the first option, and he is very likely to try physical therapy to enhance healing. If, however, surgery is the best option, then I know I am in the most capable and caring hands! I can recommend him without reservations.

Definitely the BEST!
The staff was so pleasant & kind. The environment was very welcoming in the office. Dr. Post was awesome! He took the time to review my films with me & took additional x-rays at his office. I felt confident in him. Most of all, he is a Christian & quoted scripture! Loved that! I’m looking forward to putting my care in his hands!!

VERY CARING
From the moment Dr. Post walked in the door he listed to what I had to say and how I was feeling. At no point did I feel rushed during the visit. He spent time to show me my X-rays and explained things in way I could understand. He is the best!!!

Outstanding surgeon!
From the moment I walked into Dr. Post’s office I felt comforting by the warm welcome of his staff.Dr. Post explained the total knee replacement in detail and answered all my questions. His nurse gave me my surgery date, instructions for after surgery care and a phone number if at any time I had questions or concerns. The day of surgery Dr. Post came into my room, we talked then he asked if he could say a prayer. WOW! I’ve never had a doctor pray with me. What a peaceful way to go into surgery. My after surgery care was remarkable. I’m walking 3 - 5 miles 6 days a week without any pain whatsoever. By the way, that’s not a causal walk. I’ve always been a “race walker.” I raced waked a marathon at age 42. Thirty years later at 72 and my new knee, I’m enjoying my fast pace walking again, without any pain!!!Praise the Lord! Thanks Dr. Post

Amazing doctor, better person
Dr. Post is an amazing doctor. After being let down by a previous surgeon, he not only located the problem but fixed it flawlessly. He performed two of my surgeries and gave me my quality of life back. The whole office staff is incredibly wonderful as well. I wish there was a high ranking I could leave for the amount that this office has done for me!

Compassionate and skilled physician
Dr. Post is not the first surgeon that I have seen for my knees, but he will be the last. His level of knowledge of my condition as well as his compassion in my care have been the best I have had in Pittsburgh or Morgantown. I hope to not need his services again, but if I do, I know that I will receive the best care available.

Very Thorough , Excellent Staff, Very Caring Dr.
From the very first appointment, I received professional care and great customer service from Dr. Post and his staff. Dr. Post was extremely thorough in his examination, diagnosis, treatment options and prognosis for my knee injury. He reviewed my x-rays and CT scan in great detail and spent a good amount of time discussing his plan to repair my knee. He made me feel that I could be confident and trust in his decision. The staff and Dr. Post are extremely easy to communicate with. The service could not be any better!

Trusted doctor!
I have seen Dr. Post for almost 30 years now. I have a hereditary condition with my knees, and he is the ONLY doctor I would trust to take of my knees or any orthopedic needs my family would need. He is a trusted doctor, and I recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor in orthopedics!

Dr. Post is a condescending joke
Dr. Post was rude and condescending. When I attempted to ask clarifying questions his response was 'what did I just say' without offering any other details or explanation. He did not listen to me at all, he didn't take into any account of what I had been doing to treat my injury and his 'prescription' was basically to keep doing what I'm doing. He made me feel uncomfortable about my body and was rude about my body. The other staff were nice.

Dr. Post and his staff are the absolute best!
Dr. Post and his staff are the absolute best in the business! He performed surgery on BOTH of my husband's shoulders within 6 months of each other so we have lots of experience with both him and his office staff. Everyone is so kind, respectful and helpful! We felt like family after the first visit.Dr. Post and his Nurse Practioner, Kelly, are extremely knowledgeable and down-to-earth. They explain every detail of the procedures and after-care so anyone can understand and follow the directions. They walk you through the entire process so both the patient and the family feel well prepared for any issues that arise. Also, they are very quick to respond if you need anything! No one wants to have surgery but when it is a necessity, there is no one better than Dr. Post.

Very disappointed
I was excited for my appointment because I had seen such good reviews. I was very disappointed. The office staff was friendly but Dr. Post was rude and condescending. Some of his answers were smart mouth comments. I came to him in a lot of pain and he offered no solutions other then keep doing what your doing. I felt like if you didn't have a sports medicine type injury he couldn't be bothered. He barely listened to anything I had to say

In one review, a patient states that Dr. Post wouldn't give her copies of her X-rays, and I find that hard to believe. He gave me several videos of my surgery (along with copies of the X-rays and MRI).
