Dr. William Procell, MD

The most unprofessional doctor I've ever dealt with and I have a chronic illness so I've seen plenty. Wouldn't even sit down to talk to me, didn't listen, rushed me through and left without even explaining what tests we're needed. Had to reschedule follow up appointment because of aforementioned chronic illness and was told that I couldn't get my prescriptions refilled that I've been on for years and was treated like I was trying to scam painkillers or something. Then told that I should find another doctor because this wasn't working out because I reminded him that we discussed my medication last visit (a couple months before and they are not pain pills) and he said he would refill them. Was perfectly willing to rescedule appointment but was out of prescription now. So now I have no doctor and no prescription. Started crying and was told to call a suicide hotline and hung up on. Never experienced anything like it. Stay away from this smug uncaring professional.

I got to say this dr is amazing. He cares about his patients and goes the extra mile for you if need to. He and his staff take the time to talk to/with you and not at you, and listen to you, answers your questions. Works with you to help find a solution if that may be the case.. I had some issues a few weeks ago, and Dr.Procell and his staff treated me and showed the attention I needed as if I was the only patient there. Took immediate action. And did every test possible to try and get to the bottom of it. He definitely has great bed side manners, and that is what matters most. ***what I mean by that, is he has a great attitude and personality, and takes his time and talks with you*** he always has a smile on his face... if you are searching for a PCP, I definitely recommend him. ****just have your phone on silent or low and don't answer or be on the phone with him in the room.**** ?? Thank you Dr. Procell and staff for everything you do. I always have great visits when I go here

Dr Procell is the best at what he does. He cares, his compassion is outstanding. I wouldn't see any other doctor. He is the best.

While very thorough, in my experience he talked down to me. (I had a double major in college; definitely not someone who needs to be spoken to like a child.) My main reason for leaving this review is that my little girl (age 7) was with me. I have a severe illness and the doctor began talking about possibilities of dying. My mom was there also - in my opinion he should have had her to take my little one out of the room before such a topic. My child is upset; fears losing me. Unprofessional.
