Skilled and compassionate
Dr. Saway has been my primary care doctor for over 20 years. He is highly skilled and also compassionate. I appreciate the advanced medical tests he uses, and his ability to explain the results, along with advice on how to improve my health. He is kind and caring in addition to being a great doctor.

You can do better
Dr. Saway ignored the severe withdrawal symptoms I was experiencing from an antidepressant, and he was dangerously misinformed about the current best practices for tapering off it. He has a habit of interrupting and rushing the appointment, so it's hard to communicate anything to him. He doesn't fully read messages on the web portal and gives curt, puzzling replies. I'm not sure if I personally offended him somehow or he just has disdain for all his patients.

Too busy to speak with you, doesn't make an effort to seek out causes of ailments, is even too busy to take a minute to explain lab results to you before hanging up. No matter what you are seeing him for, he pushes statins on you like he is paid a $1 a pill.
