Amazing epidural
Dr. Shakespeare took care of my wife (this was almost 7 years ago now) after we arrived for the delivery of our first. He took to the time to not only come in and check on us every several times through the night, but was kind, compassionate and reassuring to first time parents. I've since been to medical school, and am currently in residency, which puts our experience in sharp contrast. He's head and shoulders above the average anesthesiologist.

I had surgery at UVRMC 02-22-18. I was lucky enough to have Dr. Shakespeare as my anesthesiologist. He was friendly and professional. When he asked about my past experiences/concerns with anesthesia, he listened to what I had to say. This was, by far, the best experience I ever had with anesthesia. No nausea, I felt I woke quickly, minimal pain immediately post-op but not over medicated. If we could request our anesthesiologist, he would be my pick, hands down ! Thank-you, Dr. Shakespeare !
