terriblehe acts nice in person but remains completely unresponsive and unconcerned if you are sick and need a response. very unprofessional. Also, very hasty.. ever to get in and out of the exam room.

Very impressed my doctor, Dr. William Reed Shimberg, easy to talk to and he fully answers all questions and concerns.

Dr. Shimberg is a professional, compassionate doctor who listens to my issues, addresses concerns head-on and is very thorough. He follows through and follows up. I never feel rushed and I leave my appointments more calm knowing we have a great care plan in place. He is very knowledgeable and calm and does not have the “alarmist” type personality I’ve encountered with other doctors. I have severe health anxiety and he always has a calm professional demeanor which I find very helpful. I recommend him to anyone!

Yeah, he smiled, he (seemingly) took notes... He never took care of the problem I came in with! A word of advice... just because someone seems "nice", doesn't mean they're competent.

I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Shimberg. He listened to me, and truly understood the complexity of my situation. I will definitely keep him as a long term doctor.

Cold, uncaring, ignored my list of issues & prescribed a drug for my sudden blood pressure/heart rate issues which caused a number of side effects which I researched & found were common with this drug (Losartan). It also dangerously interacts with many common "every day" kinds of OTC drugs. Shimberg didn't warn me about any of this!

Would never go back to this "Dr." again!

I've met with Dr. Shimberg twice and really like him. He's straight forward and has a good bedside manner. I appreciate his approach towards prescribing medication. He's not willy nilly giving out meds and he wants to figure out ways to work with you to find the best health solution for your given situation.

I felt very comfortable during my appointment. My questions were answered. I didn’t feel I was being rushed.

Very worried about upcoming appointment with Dr. Shimberg (I was assigned to him because no other in-network providers available to me) due to these Healthgrades reviews. However, he was prompt, courteous, attentive (sitting down facing me and listening to my physical concerns), and got right to proposed solutions even though it meant I had to schedule with other specialists. He was direct and informative.

I went to see Dr Shimberg after my old doctor retired. Without even introducing himself, this doctor told me he was changing my treatment plan. My questions and concerns were not addressed. The biggest question I had was why he wanted to change my treatment. I never got an answer. Total lack of communication. This doctor does not have a patient centered approach. He expects the patient to do what he says just because he is a doctor. What the patient wants is obviously irrelevant to him. I will not be going back for a second visit.

If I could give negative stars I would. He has a terrible bedside manner. Seemed to be in a rush. Was not sensitive to my situation at all. Stated my health info loudly in hallway so I could hear it through the door. Didn't look inot anything he should have. Completely unprofessional. Hope I never see him again.
