Dr. William Stroud, MD

Love Dr. Stroud, such a good man, friendly and listened to everything. He delivered my first born in July of 19. I unexpectedly ended up with HELLP syndrome and he was there every minute while I was going through a rough time. For my 2nd pregnancy he referred me to a great high risk twin specialist and I'm so thankful he did because we found out things that only a children's hospital could handle long term. I'm so glad he was part of our journey!

Thankful for his care and attention to my situation

Perfect bedside manner and genuinely interested in patient care and experience. Unfortunately he has left the profession, at least temporarily. I hope he comes back soon, no one else has come close to quality of care.

Dr. Stroud helped me when no other Dr. did growing up. I had so many issues that other doctors dismissed like my immense pain, and I had been bleeding for over two years straight.. Not only did he actually listen, but even no questions asked did surgery that has improved my life so much since, back in 2021. I wish him only the best these days, especially in this post RvW world. Wherever you are, Dr. Stroud, thank you so much. You've literally changed my life.

I highly recommend Dr. William Stroud & OBGYN Associates. I had a miscarriage recently and Dr. Stroud has been extremely patient, kind, and informative during this trying time. I hope he delivers our future baby(s) one day.

I cannot express how great full I am that Dr. Stroud delivery my sweet baby. I wasn’t able to make it to Huntsville hospital where I had planned to deliver so I ended up at Madison ER and thank goodness he was on duty that night!! I wish that I would have had him my entire pregnancy!! He will be my doctor from now on!! Thank you for making my delivery an extremely pleasant and easy going!!

Dr Stroud is one of a kind. His bedside manner and attentiveness to his patients is something to be sought after. He makes you feel VERY welcome in his office. He truly listens to his patients! I would recommend him to any women who desire GREAT care over GOOD care.

Dr. Stroud is an attentive listener who I feel was genuinely interested in my health and wellness. I had some questions and he took his time to thoroughly answer each one. Due to the exceptional care and attention he provided, I will be going back to Dr. Stroud and, without hesitation, will recommend him to my friends and family

He might be a great physician but he is completely ignorant and insulting when it comes to the variety of healthcare paths with healthy mom and baby outcomes. It seems he operates off insecurity instead of facts. Unfortunate.. but typical. Lots of women have incredible experiences with midwives and to flippantly dismiss that truth and the facts of their positive outcomes is unbelievably immature. He needs a few years maybe and a greater variety of experience to truly understand birth and women.

I can't recommend Dr. Stroud enough! I would give 10 stars! I have had a number of gynos, both men and women, and he is by far the best of them all. He takes more time with his patients than I have ever seen, of any doctor. He also removed my tubes/uterine ablation for me at 30 when most doctors would just rolls their eyes. Seriously, he's the best!

I am so happy with Dr. Stoud! He was caring, supportive and listen to me. I have found my new Doctor and I am thrilled!!!!!!!!!

As a first time mommy, Dr Stroud made me feel so comfortable with all my questions and I felt like he was really listening to me and my concerns. He always went above and beyond to make sure my delivery went as smoothe as possible. He explained things before doing them and kept things very professional. I wouldn’t let anyone else deliver my babies. I would recommend Dr Stoud a thousand times!
