Scheduled physical with Dr. Wassel because primary physician was not available. Berate (in front of my child) by Dr. Wassel about my child's immunizations not being up to date. I later saw my primary physician who said immunizations were up to date and fine. I would avoid Dr. Wassel.

This physician would do well to familiarize himself with the patient Bill of Rights, specifically informed consent. Poor bedside manner. Did little to encourage bidirectional conversation. Condescending, rolled eyes, and made rude, inappropriate comments regarding medical decisions I made for my child founded on evidence-based practice and clinical studies. Refused to hear anything I had to say. Was arrogantly domineering in voicing his thoughts, gives little consideration to parents.

My sons regular dr was unavailable, the appointment was made with Dr wassell...my son had a tick on him, the site was bright red and purple. He was rude and condescending, he told me to wait until my son experienced joint pain and a bullseye rash before coming in. Wait until my son gets Lyme disease? I took him to Saint Mary's and without question they put him on antibiotics to prevent Lyme disease. Would never recommend this doctor to anyone.
