Dr. William Yount, MD

I wish I had read the reviews before going today. He walked in while I was in triage. Literally said 'what do you want us to do' 'You're just having panic' My primary dr had told me to go for suspected ruptured hernia. He insisted I need a gynecologist for a cyst that is reabsorbing and had nothing to do with my symptoms Repulsive attitude and I normally love this hospital. He was awful. He had me crying thinking I was crazy by the time I left. Went to my primary care Dr immediately after who contacted emergency surgery.

Dr Yount was friendly knowledgeable and addressed all my concerns he's an asset to our community

He’s quick to dismiss anything as anxiety/panic. His catchphrase he says to multiple patients in emergency room distress is, “what do you want me to do about it?” (Quoted to both me, and previously my father about his own health.) This dr made me leave with no tests performed, doubted my knowledge about my health and body, and gaslit me into believing it was my mental health, at a time when my mental health has been worked on, improved, & I clearly stated that this is different. I have a neurological condition, a history of contributing medical issues, symptoms of fatal events that this dr in no way asked any questions about. Did not ask what medications I was on or medical history in any way, stated unclear facts and biases about neurological disorders & told me that my experiences I’m having were fake, when my dr reaffirmed everything I stated to him. I have a lot of medical trauma, and this man only made me realize why. For-profit healthcare incentives have created negligent drs.
