Dr. Win Aye, MD

Dr. Aye was my father’s physician at the VA in Fayetteville, NC. She was non-caring and treated my father as if he were receiving 3rd world treatment. She discharged my dad while he had a fever, could not walk or lift himself and with swollen extremities, labored breathing and high blood pressure at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. A veteran should never receive such poor and uncaring treatment. He was discharged forcefully around 11am on a Saturday and admitted to a civilian hospital by 4pm that same day. There were SEVERAL pleas that he not be discharged from the VA for many reasons. She adamantly continued to say NO! Had he been able to remain under the VA’s care (but not under Dr. Aye) perhaps my father would still be alive today. She was unprofessional and rude. I hope the VA will conduct a full investigation on Dr. Aye. My father died in late April.

Patients beware of the individual. I would give zero stars if possible. Released my 80 year old father from the hospital with serious presenting issues at the the height of covid . Very brash and rude.
