Great physician! Very considerate and thorough. Everyone in the office is polite and caring except for the phone lady named Amber. Poor customer service, rude and treats you like you're bothering her when you call. If you can avoid her, it's a wonderful experience.

After having received some serious diagnosis is from specialist, I searched for an internist who cared and was truly interested in my welfare. Who is proven that time and time again with after hours phone calls, hospital visits although he was not the admitting physician in responding to Electronic messages early morning or after hours. That only does it in Walnut Creek well with a patient but also with all of you attending doctors who were involved in your care. Unfortunately, this is almost unheard of today. Dr horsley became a doctor for the right reasons .... to help people become well again. Recommending him to family and friends with confidence that they will be comfortable and pleased. Do not hesitate to schedule your appointment with him. You will be in good care.

I have found Dr. Horsley to be a fantastic physician. He's been treating me for a situation that is not traditional. He is careful to listen, then ask questions, before prescribing a treatment. He is excellent in researching and then communicating immediately. He, as a physician, is fantastic. His bedside manner is absolutely respectful and kind. Having said that, I have found his office staff to poorly represent him. Not just one person, rather, multiple staff members. While Dr. Horsley immediately filled out the paperwork, the staff took weeks to transmit it. It took numerous requests, before they followed through. When Dr. Horsley referred me to a specialist for one of my issues, again, the staff failed to transmit the requested documents for the specialist. I had to contact Dr. Horsley's office staff multiple times, and the doctors office themself had to call twice! It took weeks for the staff to get the doctors reports over to the specialist. Poorly run by administrators.

Love him as a doctor, some of the staff need to go, rude, disrespectful and obviously are there only for a check. Not unusual for some of the IU North support staff, they get away with terrible attitudes and behaviour. That is why we have left all north doctors except Dr. Horsley. Come on IU, clean up your act!

I have found Dr. Horsley to be very empathetic and patient. He seems to be well-qualified and knowledgeable. His quiet, unassuming personality provides an excellent "bedside manner." I remain pleased to have Dr. Horsley as my primary care physician.

This Dr and his office have 0 organizational skills. 3 days for a call back that still hasn't been received for a pneumonia patient is ridiculous. we sat in the exam room for almost an hour before he walked into the room, and then even after I gave all the symptoms, didn't offer a chest x-ray until we asked for it specifically, only because I sounded clear.

Arrogant, poor beside manner, took over patients for doctors who left and immediately thought he knew better, takes unnecessarily long to return calls. Very disappointed. Left practice because of him.
