Works well for me

I've been seeing him for 15 years. He keeps up to date with the latest treatments. I have treatment resistant depression and we have tried many different things and I feel like we work as a team. I know some people don't care for him, but I can tell you this, you will not like him if you lie to him. He practically interrogates you when you meet and he wants very nuanced details. If you lie, he will catch you. He will not tolerate it.

A great and caring doctor
Doctor Li takes the time to really get to know the patient. He may run late now and then but, once you know him, you don't mind. You know that if you have a significant issue to address -- he won't just say "Our time is up" 15 minutes later. So, he may run late but he actaully cares. And, he's a pro. I believe he's Harvard trained and just a great, caring professional. He's worked helping me, my GF, her father who is alcoholic and everything he suggesed has worked out. As a matter of fact, it's always a pleasure seeing him. I highly recommend this office, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone even close to as good as Dr. Li.

Though I have pretty easily manageable ADHD, he has always been professional and courteous, and he seems well-versed in treatments and the details of their effects. I do agree that appointments tend to run late, often 20-30 minutes past the scheduled time, though I feel that is fairly standard for medicine in general.

Dr. Li is quite competent, but he seems to lack compassion and understanding of the disease of addiction, and it IS a disease, according to DSM-V, which Dr. Li ought to be very well versed on. He was nice to me, we got along great, but then I made a mistake and relapsed on a different drug and he turned on me. He did help me, but not before berating me, even calling me a "baby". Now really, is that what you need to hear? You feel bad enough already.

Do not go to Dr. Li for dTMS. His staff administers the treatment incorrectly. If you do see Dr. Li for TMS, take selfies of yourself with the cap and helmet on. The staff places the cap and helmet on you so quickly for each treatment, the position of both the cap and the helmet are not the same each time. I addressed this with Dr. Li who told me to keep taking selfies. They leave you alone in a cluttered and dirty back room for the treatments and do not monitor you. Pick another clinic for TMS.

I would not recommend him. He literally lied to my therapist & subsequently myself in regards to a medication I have been taking for over 20 yrs. He said he had ZERO problem prescribing it. However, once you see him, he keeps you on the regimen you are used to, & then decides to take a medication you have been taking for two decades (which can be verified) off the table. He doesn't want to listen to the patient or my therapist. In fact he had office staff tell her to tell me to find someone else

This place is a joke. To start, the receptionist couldn't find my file, which is very unprofessional and u organized. The office is dirty and uncomfortable and the staff is always rude and unhappy. Came for a 12:30pm appointment (with a 9 week old baby) and was still waiting to be seen at 1:45pm. I then needed to change my baby and the bathroom was the size of a tiny closet and had no changing table. Needless to say my baby had to sit in poop for over an hour just so I could see Dr. Li for 10min

Dr. Li is a great doctor, however the staff are rude and unprofessional. The office is dirty and uncomfortable and the waiting time of over an hour is ridiculous. This would be a much better practice if the secretary had a grasp on customer service.

Depression issues are difficult to nail down. I found dTMS to be right for me. Dr. Li so me for my continuing treatments. I found him highly skilled at administering DTMS , making me feel comfortable and relaxed during treatments. His staff is also very helpful for setting appointments and assisting.

I is very simple... I went for a fairly short scheduled visit. Upon realizing that it would take quite a while to get through my situation he kept me there and spent the necessary time. Perhaps some patients had to wait but please realize that he is truly concerned about doing a proper diagnosis and explain treatment. I wish more physicians were so caring.
