Glad new Doctor to the area. He is truly knowledgeable, and he is great with his Patiences. He explained everything in the simplest manner to help me understand what he was going to do to me in my surgery and how it was going to help me overall. I would recommend everyone to Dr. Lui.

Dr. Liu and the rest of the staff at Sacramento Eye Consultants are very helpful, friendly, and efficient. The same goes for the associated Capitol City Surgery Center. Dr. Liu was quite willing to discuss my situation and personal wishes and answer my questions (I had cataract surgery on both eyes). He recognizes a patient may have limited financial resources and is willing to accomodate those resources as much as possible and still provide good medical care. Thank you Dr. Liu and staff!

Out of all the different Dr's I went to he was the only one that knew what the exact condition was, how to fix it, and got me scheduled within 1 week. He was kind, thoughtful in his answers, and very caring about my needs

Dr. Liu is an excellent ophthalmologist. He’s thorough and takes his time. He explains everything you need to know. He made me feel comfortable communicating with him. He’s warm but professional. I would definitely see him again.

He was very concerned about my left eye condition after receiving the referral from Dr Equi & Dr Liang. He listened to what I had to say. Upon receiving his medical recommendation and carefully explaining what I needed to do to lessen my risks of losing my sight in the left eye I felt that I was in very good hands. I had a stent placement surgery on Monday and so far doing well. Dr Liu seems to truly care about his patients.

Dr. Liu performed an eye surgery to reposition my intraocular lens which was dislocated due to an injury. I had several visits to monitor my eye leading to the surgery which was completely successful. Dr. Liu was informative throughout the process explaining the different options I had to address my dislocation. In the end he was able to correct my lens displacement with a single surgery and my vision today is thankfully where it was prior to my injury.

Dr. Liu has poor communication skills, is usually very late, and seems disorganized. He gives confusing directions. I would not recommend him.
